Day 1: Arrival in Delhi, Airport pick-up
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our local representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you at leisure.
Day 2: Full day Old & New Delhi city
The tour starts with visits to the top attractions in Old Delhi, including Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid Mosque, and a photo stop at the Red Fort. Then a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk bazaar will be arranged for you to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
In the afternoon we'll continues to the Qutub Minar, one of the most beautiful stone towers in the world, and Humayun's Tomb. After visiting the landmark India Gate, we will drive past the Parliament House and other Government Secretarial Buildings to visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (a Sikh Temple).
Day 3: Drive for 3.5h from Delhi to Agra by private car, Agra sightseeing
After breakfast, we will drive to Agra by our private air-conditioned car. After check-in and some rest at the hotel, we will visit the Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah (also known as Baby Taj) and Mehtab Bagh. Alternatively, you can explore the city at your pace. Our driver and car are free for your disposal in the city.
Day 4: Agra highlights with Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal, a pure white mausoleum built for Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. We will get there in the early morning so as to seize the breathtaking view at sunrise and also to avoid the crowd.
We will return to the hotel for breakfast. After that, we will head westwards to marvel at Agra Fort, one of the most elegant palaces of the Mughal Empire, with a history of more than 400 years.
Taj Mahal: It is closed on every Friday. Two kinds of entrance tickets, one costs 1300INR and the other is 1050INR. We offer the first one with permission to go into the main dome of the coffins of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. A bottled water, a pair of shoe covers and a map are included in the ticket price, too.
Day 5: Drive 5h to Jaipur with visits to Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri
A pleasant day starts with a comfortable drive to Fatehpur Sikri, an imperial palace for the Mughal Empire during 1571 - 1585.
After that, we will drive to Jaipur. En route, we will make a stop at Abhaneri village to visit the ancient Chand Baori, which is the largest and deepest stepwell in India.
Upon arrival to Jaipur, our driver will assist you to check in at the hotel. For the rest of the day, you can explore the busy Jaipur bazaars or the colorful streets to have a leisurely look at the local life. Our driver and car are free for your use within the city.
Day 6: Jaipur full day tour with Amber Fort
We have a full day to enjoy this charming pink city. The majestic Amber Fort, it must be very interesting to pay for an elephant ride to get to the top and then start your visiting. Drive back to the city and stop and take photos at the water palace named Jal Mahal, followed by a visit to exquisite buildings Maharaja City Palace and the rich exhibits inside. Next we will visit Jantar Mantar, it is the most important, comprehensive and well preserved ancient observatory in India, and it is also a world heritage site assessed by UNESCO. The last stop for today is a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds.
Day 7: Fly 1.5h from Jaipur to Varanasi, Airport-hotel transfer
After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the Jaipur airport for your flight to Varanasi. Our Varanasi driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Take a walk in the city by yourself to experience the local life.
In the evening, you will witness the unique Ganga Aarti Ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat with the help of our guide. Thousands of lamps are immersed in the water of the sacred Ganges and the floating lamps add a divine aspect to the river: a not-to-be-missed experience.
Day 8: Varanasi full day sightseeing
We will set out for a boat trip along the Ganges River to see Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat from the boat. Both are holy platforms for locals to hold cremation ceremonies. You may have a chance to witness this traditional ritual during the journey. After that, we will take a morning tour to visit Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and Banaras Hindu University. In the afternoon we will head to the Deer Park in Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum (the Museum is closed on Fridays).
Day 9: Fly 2h from Varanasi to Delhi by flight, Departure from Delhi
The tour ends today. You may seize the last minute for exploration of the city. Our driver will transfer you to the Varanasi airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will connect to your onward flight on your own. We wish you a pleasant trip home!
