Kathmandu:

It is rich in historic buildings. People can appreciate the essentials of Nepal's art and religious works. For example, the landmark temple- Boudhanath Stupa, a must-go destination in Kathmandu, is the world's largest semi-circular pagoda and has been included in the World Cultural Heritage. It features the Buddha's eyes on four directions. Every day, numerous believers gather around to worship, confess and pray.

Bhaktapur:

Located about 14 kilometers (8.6mi) east of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur was once the best preserved ancient city in Nepal with many Buddhist and Hindu historical sites. The main attraction of Bhaktapur is its striking Durbar Square, which was listed in the World Heritage Sites. In this square, tourists can appreciate the Big Bell, which was rung to pay homage to the Goddess Taleju; and visit the 55-Window Palace with the exquisite paintings and stone carvings.

Patan:

South of Kathmandu, Patan is famous for its Patan Durbar Square. The rectangular square is long from north to south and short from west to east. The Patan Palace Museum occupies the entire eastern part of the square. The whole square is superb and exquisite and is known as the open-air museum.

Chitwan:

If you want to visit the natural scenery, the Royal Chitwan National Park is a great choice. It is one of the greatest wildlife destinations in Asia. People can observe exotic and rare wildlife like one-horned rhino and Bengal tiger there.
