Kathmandu

As the capital of Nepal, this city is full of religious relics and grand architectures. Kumari Temple is a three-storey red brick building located in the south of Durbar Square. Built in the 18th century, it is the residence of the girl who is regarded as the goddess of Kumari before entering the puberty. The procedure of choosing goddess is very strict and complex. When the goddess of Kumari shows up in the temple, visitors are not allowed to take pictures.

People can also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is a collection of classical architecture from 16th to 19th centuries in Nepal. There are more than 50 temples and palaces on the square, and the original architectural form and style have been maintained since the Middle Age (500AD-1500AD).

Pokhara

Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal with many famous scenic spots such as Phewa Lake. It is a famous royal resort in Nepal. The majestic Annapurna Mountain forms the natural backdrop of Phewa Lake. The fascinating lake scene makes people relaxing and pleasant. You can sit by it all day, cycle around the lake or admire the diverse species of rhododendron around the lake.

Whitewater Rafting Trip

Nepal is the world 's best whitewater rafting destination because of large territory drop, rich rainfall and crisscross rivers.

Sun Koshi River Rafting: The entrance is just a 3-hour drive from Kathmandu. The whole journey is 270 kilometers (170 mi), and the rafting needs 7-9 days. It is one of the top 10 drifting rivers in the world. The journey is rapid and thrilling but not scary, suitable for people who does not have any rafting experience.

Trisuli River Rafting: It is the most popular rafting spot in Nepal. Adjacent to Kathmandu, the transportation is so convenient so it attracts a lot of tourists. Down the river, you can drift directly to the Chitwan National Park, which is a wonderful place to observe wildlife. It is recommended to choose a one-day drift itinerary, because the latter half of the river is a little dull.
