How to Reach Aksa Beach, Mumbai

You can visit this beach by bus, train or cab. As this place is located away from the main city, it is a long journey. Located in Malad, the Aksa beach is approximately 9 km (5.6mi) from Malad station and 12 km (7.5mi) from Borivali. Apart from private transport and auto-rickshaws, you have to change two buses from Andheri West and it will take about 50 minutes. If you want to reach Aksa beach from Andheri West railway station, buses from Andheri station go to Versova Village. From there you can take a boat across the sea to Madh Island. And after reaching Madh Island bus numbers 268 and 271 go to Aksa beach.

Some nearby places are the J.J. Hospital Nursing Society that is 151 meters (165 yard), i.e., about 2 minutes’ walk. From the Kendriya Vidhyalaya, the beach is almost 296 meters (324 yard) - a 4 minutes’ walk. And Marshal Wadi is about 664 meters (726 yard) away - a 9 minutes’ walk to the beach. If you are planning to visit this beach directly from Mumbai Airport, you can reach easily in a maximum of 20 minutes by hiring a private cab or taxi. The distance is only 10 km (6.2mi) from the airport.
