Winter (October to next February)
Agra has so many scenic spots such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and City Site of Agra. Winter is the most ideal time to go there, because the highest temperature in Agra is only 30℃ (86℉). Make sure to take some warm clothes with you because Agra’s night is pretty cold. By the way, to visit the Taj Mahal, people need to dress decently and properly; and it is only open to local Muslims on Fridays.
Summer (March to June)
Temperature reaches the peak level in May and June. In the day, you can visit some indoor attractions and go outside in the early morning and at night. Sunscreen is one of the most important necessities for you to travel in summer, and you should better take other sun-protective products like sunhat, parasol and so on. In general, it is not very recommended to travel there during this period.
Monsoon Season (July to September)
Agra weather is unbearably hot and humid in monsoon season. Agra temperature is 34℃ (93.2℉) on average. The rain is heavy with over 10 raining days every month. The roads are often flooded after rains, which brings great inconvenience to tourists. Therefore, you should better avoid the season when you choose to travel to Agra.
