1. Osaka Castle

It has 3,000 sakura trees and the most famous sakura viewing place in the park is the Nishinomaru Garden. The second recommended place to appreciate the sakura is the Expo’70 Commemorative Park. It has 9 kinds of sakura and more than 5,500 sakura trees in the park. 3. The March Tournament, Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium, Namba

As the birthplace of sumo, a form of wrestling, Japan holds a different sumo tournament every month. In March, the sumo tournament is held in Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. The March tournament has the unique wrestling culture of Osaka and this is an unmissable event for fans of sumo. After watching the sumo competition, visitors can take a walk in the lively Namba's business districts nearby the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium as the ending of the day.
