1. Abeno Harukas

Considering the either rainy or hot weather outdoors, the indoor Abeno Harukas is recommended. It is 300 meters (984.25 feet) high, the second-tallest skyscraper in Japan, with the meaning of hoping every visitor getting relaxed while standing on the observatory. Standing on the top of the building, visitors can see the whole scenery of Osaka. If the sky is clear, visitors can even overlook the scenery of Mt. Rokko and Awaji Island in Hyogo. Besides the scenery, the Abeno Harukas also has other interesting facilities and amusements for visitors to enjoy. In hot summer, Abeno Harukas is a very worthwhile attraction to visit.

Tip: Food and drinks are prohibited from entering the 59th and 60th floor of Abeno Harukas. If you want to eat or drink something, you can turn to the coffee shop on 58th floor.

2. Nakanoshima

Nakanoshima is the center of Osaka commerce and art. Walking on the street, you can see the combining style of retro buildings and modern architectures. The National Museum of Art, Osaka, and Festival Hall are all in the Nakanoshima. Visitors can absolutely have a fulfilling trip here. What’s more, if you travel here, you can take a sightseeing boat on the river and enjoy the street scenery smoothly. 3. Otaue Rice Planting Festival, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine

On June 14th, the Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine holds the Otaue Rice Planting Festival to celebrate the arrival of rice planting season. In this one of the oldest shrines which was built with the purest Japanese style, visitors can enjoy the traditional performance and procession which is formed by all armed samurai. What’s more, the Otaue Rice Planting Festival is known as one of the Nationally Intangible Folk Culture and Ceremony. Visitors can experience the most authentic Japanese customs here.
