Hot Season (February – April)

The weather of Phuket is hot from February to April, especially in March, when the highest temperature could soar to 36℃ (96.8℉). During this time, the average temperature varies from 25-34℃(77-93.2℉) with high humidity. There is Songkran in April and people can enjoy the water fight to get a short relive from hot weather. You can bring some lightweight clothes; remember to do a great sunscreen work when going outside.


Rainy Season (May – October)
The rainy season expects the large rainfall, especially in September to October, which is also the slack season of Phuket. During this period, rains are very frequent but short with 18-22 rainy days in a month and there are few tourists on the island.


Cool Season (November – January)
After the rainy season, the climate is cool and dry with the low humidity and Phuket enters the peak season. It is the best time to travel to Phuket with blue sky and beautiful sea view; December is the coolest month of the year. People can take some breathable cloth such as dress and t-shirts.
