Mongolia Weather in October

October is one of the worst months to go for a trip due to the low temperature. But tourists can visit the Gobi desert in October without worrying about being scorched by the sun. Bayanzag is the world's first place where dinosaur remains were discovered. It is called "Flame Cliff" because ochre red rock and soil are both mysterious and spectacular in the wilderness. In 1922, in this desolate Gobi plain, American scientists discovered many dinosaur fossils from the late Cretaceous period for the first time, including Dinosaur egg fossils, so Bayanzag received worldwide attention. After visiting Flaming Cliffs, you can also enjoy the Hungolin Dune, which is the largest sand dune in Mongolia, and its color will change with different lights at different times. The highest point of the sand dunes here can reach 800 meters. Local people call it "singing sand dunes", because when the wind blows, the vast desert sounds like a wonderful song. In Hungolin Dune, you can see the vast, magnificent and mysterious Gobi desert. You can also experience riding camels on sand dunes.  It is also a wonderful and rare experience to stay in the nomadic camp in the Gobi desert and watch stars in the open desert at night.
