It is common to enjoy bright sunshine downtown while light drizzle lingers on the mountain for hours - you may even be caught in gentle rain throughout your entire visit there. Thankfully, the rainfall is usually light and will not significantly disrupt your sightseeing plans.
Ample Daylight Duration

You don’t need to pack your schedule tightly at all - the long day length gives you enough time to explore several attractions in a day at a relaxed pace; this is also because there is no extreme midday heat or frequent rainfall boxing you indoor and most of the day remains available for outdoor activities.Better yet, Da Nang enjoys an average of 7 hours of sunshine each day in March, with bright sunlight lasting through most of the day. But there is no need to be disappointed - the swirling mist wraps the mountains in a hazy, ethereal beauty, like a celestial paradise, letting you capture one-of-a-kind scenery.

Tips
1. In March, the UV index in Da Nang climbs above level 11, reaching an extreme level. In addition to regular sunscreen, be sure to bring a sun hat and UV-protective arm sleeves, and reapply sunscreen every two hours to avoid sunburn from prolonged exposure.
2. March is the peak season for flower viewing at Ba Na Hills, with large crowds on weekends and public holidays. We recommend going there on weekdays and entering the park before 7:30 to avoid peak crowds, and prioritize visiting the core flower-viewing areas first. If it rains in the afternoon, you can switch to indoor attractions such as the Ba Na Hills Museum.
3. The mountain areas are often misty with occasional drizzle, and the humidity is quite high. We recommend preparing waterproof pouches to properly store paper documents such as passports and itineraries, as well as electronic devices like cameras, to protect them from moisture damage.
