Therefore, it is considered as the best time to visit Gujarat. For hill stations in Gujarat, July to October is the peak season for tourists to experience the lush greenery of beautiful hills.


Slack Season

Slack season of Gujarat is from April to September. April and May are the hottest months of Gujarat that riches the highest temperature up to 32 - 41℃ (90 - 105℉). Because of the dry and arid atmosphere, tourists avoid visiting Gujarat during this time. In Gujarat, monsoon starts from June and the peak of the season is August and September. As Gujarat has the largest coastline area in India, the atmosphere during monsoon is not favorable for tourism. Also, flood affects few regions of Gujarat every year. So, it is not considered as the best time to visit Gujarat. But in this slack season, accommodation and transport charges are meagre as compare to peak season. So, it is considered as an economically affordable season to visit Gujarat.
