Our guide and driver will meet you at Bangkok Airport, and then transfer you to check in the hotel by a comfortable vehicle. You may have a leisurely afternoon and prepare for your north Thailand tour from Bangkok.
Today, we will head toward Damnoen Saduak Floating Market first to start your 12-day Thailand tour. Our next destination will be Grand Palace, which is a splendid royal complex you cannot miss. Located in the northeast corner of the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew is famous for a precious jade Buddha statue. Then we will head to Wat Arun to visit the five remarkable pagodas.
After breakfast, we will drive to Ayutthaya and start our tour there with Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Then proceed to Wat Mahathat to see a unique scene of a Buddha’s head intertwined by old tree roots. After that, we will head to another famous temple, Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Then you will be guided to visit Muslim Quarter. Finishing the visit, we will return to Bangkok by a luxurious cruise on Chao Phraya River.
Day 4: Fly to Chiang Rai, Half day tour with Wat Rong Khun
Today, your Bangkok to northern Thailand trip will take you to Chiang Rai by flight. After arrival, our guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to a comfortable hotel. Then the guide will accompany you to Wat Rong Khun which has a white appearance and looks even beautiful when the sunlight reaches it. After that, we will head to Wat Phra Kaew to view a jade Buddha. The last spot of today is Wat Phra Singh. There are many beautiful murals about ancient local costumes and customs in the temple.

Day 5: Chiang Rai to Mae Sai Border via Golden Triangle
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mae Sai Border to continue your private Northern Thailand Tour. Then the trip continues to the famous Golden Triangle located at the boundary of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar and there are lush trees and beautiful statues of Buddha. You can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Mekong River during a boat trip but also know about local customs. Finishing the tour, we will return to Chiang Rai.

Day 6: Private transfer from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai
Today, you will be transferred to Chiang Mai on a comfortable drive. On the way, you will have a chance to go sightseeing at Thai Northern Handicraft Villages in which a lot of craftsmen make traditional handicrafts such as Thai silk, porcelain, lacquer ware, wood carving and hand-painted paper umbrella. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, our guide will lead you to check in a hotel.

Day 7: Chiang Mai temple tour with Wat Suan Dok
Today, we arrange a cooking class (join-in) for you to learn authentic Thai food. Then we will head toward Wat Suan Dok where you can see the largest golden Buddha statue in Thailand. After that, we will head to Wat Chiang Man and Wat Chedi Luang; both are famous temples in Chiang Mai. Then we will continue to see Wat Phra Singh in which the murals are considered the representative works of traditional Thai art in Northern Thailand.

Day 8: Chiang Mai one day Elephant Nature Park tour (Join-in)
After breakfast, we will drive to the Elephant Nature Park, which will be unforgettable experience for this northern Thailand tour package. It's an elephant conservation base to save some mistreated elephants. A volunteer at the park will accompany you to tour around and you can learn about the living habits, threats and protection of elephants from his/her words.

Day 9: Transfer to Pai via Mok Fah Waterfall
Today's northern Thailand itinerary starts with Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Then you will be guided to Orchid Nursery where you can appreciate nearly all the orchid species in Thailand. Next, we will drive to a quiet and beautiful town, Pai. After arrival, we will have a short stay at World War II Memorial Bridge. Finally, the guide will lead you to check in a hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Mae Hong Son with Lod Cave visit
After breakfast, we will set out today's trip to Mae Hong Son. The first stop is Tham Lod Cave. Our guide will lead you to take a bamboo raft along a stream to go through the cave. The next destination is the Burmese-style Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu. Finishing the visit, our guide will lead you to check in the hotel.

Day 11: Mae Hong Son half day tour, Transfer to Chiang Mai
Today's itineray starts with a local morning market. Then we will visit the Karen Long Neck Village during a boat trip through Pai River. People there hold the view that a long neck is a symbol of beauty. So they wear copper rings to elongate necks from the early ages and never put them down in their whole life. After the visit, the driver will transfer you back to Chiang Mai to check in a hotel.
