PASMO is one of the two widely used transportation cards in Tokyo. It also launches metro pass for Tokyo subway lines, in the same prices with Tokyo Subway Pass that has been mentioned at the beginning. Also, it is valid on all the 13 metro lines of both Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway.

Apart from the words of “Tokyo Subway 24/48/72-hour Ticket”, there is also the pattern of PASMO and the validity period. Overall, it is valid in the corresponding hours from the moment you buy the ticket. It should be noted that, if you haven’t had a PASMO card, you will get a Tokyo metro pass. If you have had a PASMO card, the information of the Tokyo subway pass will be added to your card, as long as no information of other metro pass is found on your card.

Common 1 Day Tokyo Metro Pass

The common Tokyo metro pass is also a choice to take all the metro lines in Tokyo, including both Toei Subway lines and Tokyo Metro lines. There are the words ““Common One-day Ticket for Toei Subway & Tokyo Metro” on the subway pass, actually a card, with the patterns of a metro train as well as the number and name of each metro line in Tokyo. It is valid in 24 hours, since you use it for the first time on that day you purchase the day pass or any day during the validity period that recorded on the back of the advance pass.

Advance 24H Pass for Tokyo Metro

The 24-hour Tokyo subway pass is valid to take the 9 lines of Tokyo Metro only. There are the advance ticket and day ticket on that day. With an advance ticket, you can select any day within 6 months from the date of ticket sale, and it is valid within 1 day from the first use. The day ticket is also valid for 24 hours but it can merely be utilized on that day you buy it. If you don’t use the day ticket on that day of purchase, the pass will become void.

Tokyo Metro Pass 1 Day of Toei Subway

Toei 1 Day Pass

Toei subway also has the 1 day Tokyo subway pass for visitors. Actually, it is not a metro pass completely, as it can be utilized to take Toei metro lines, Toei buses (city buses), Tokyo Sakura Tram, and Nippori-Toneri Liner; in short, all the vehicles operated by Toei. The validity period is that day you buy it until the 04:00 am of the next day. If you book it in advance, you can use it on any one day within 6 months from the date of sale.
