In June, many flowers like hydrangea and lotus are in full bloom. In the south of Nara, the Hase-dera Temple is called the temple of flowers. It has 3,000 hydrangeas and they are in full bloom in mid-June. Except the hydrangeas, visitors can also worship the Ten-faced Bodhisattva statue, one of the national treasures of Japan, in the main hall.Tip: The sap of hydrangea is poisonous; please keep a safe space with the flowers and don’t break the branches while appreciating them.
2. Kikoji Temple
