Sightseeing Activities: After breakfast, we will set off to Cherrapunjee, a humid mountainous area with frequent rain all year round. On the way, we will stop to admire the multi-storied Elephant Falls, a natural masterpiece with clean water and lush bushes. Arriving in Cherrapunjee, we will head to the Mawsmai Cave, a well-preserved natural cave full of amazing stalagmites and stalactites in various shapes. Next, we will continue to visit more waterfalls, including the Seven Sisters Fall, comprising seven parts from the Khasi Hills, and the Nohkalikai Falls, plunging 1,100 feet down a cliff like a towering white jade pillar standing between the precipices.
In the afternoon, our guide will lead you to visit the Thankarang Park, a tranquil and clean park with lush trees. Finally, we will move on to the last attraction of the day – the Koh Ramhah, where you will see a large stone pillar in a strange shape, carved with many local legends. In the evening, our guide and the driver will escort you back to the hotel in Shillong.
