Day 1: Arrival in Chennai, Airport pick-up
Welcome to South India! After claiming your luggage, you will meet our representative outside the customs and be escorted to your hotel. After settling in, you will have the rest of the day free at leisure. You could have a good rest to recover from the jet lag or stroll around to familiarize yourself with Chennai.

Day 2: Chennai city tour with Kapaleeshwarar Temple
Our Kerala boathouse honeymoon package will start from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. In the morning, we will first go to Santhome Church, a 16th-century church housing the tomb of St. Thomas - an apostle of Jesus. Next, we will visit the 7th-century Kapaleeshwarar Temple, a Hindu temple in Dravidian style. Then follow visits to the 17th-century Fort St George museum, exhibiting ancient weapons, clothing and other articles left by the colonists; the Government Museum, where you will can learn about the history and culture of India; the Vivekananda House, where the Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda used to live; Poompuhar with many Tamil Nadu's handiworks like sculptures and lamps; and the Huddleston Gardens of Theosophical Society, an extensive park covered with rich vegetation. Our Chennai tour will end at T Nagar, where you will see various jewels and sarees.

Day 3: Day excursion to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram from Chennai
Today we will drive to Kanchipuram, which is famous for thousands of ancient temples like Ekambaswara Temple and Kailasanatha Temple. The oldest temple here dates back to the 7th century. On our way back to Chennai, we will stop to visit Mahabalipuram. Here we will see three UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Shore Temple constructed in the 7th century and built of granite, Arjuna's Penance with vivid bas-reliefs, and the Five Rathas, a carved temple complex from the 7th century.

Day 4: Drive 6h from Chennai to Trichy, Trichy city tour
After an early breakfast, we will take you to Trichy, officially called Tiruchirappalli, and help you check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, our visit will begin with Robert Clive's house, where he used to live in 1752, and the nearby Danish Church. Then follows the visit to the Rock Fort, built on a high rock, where you will also see two Hindu temples.

Day 5: Drive 5h from Trichy to Tanjore to Madurai
Today we will first proceed to Tanjore, which is officially known as Thanjavur. Upon arrival, we will take you to visit Brihadeeswara Shiva Temple, an 11th-century Hindu temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 17th-century Tanjore Maratha Palace, the Saraswati Mahal Library displaying over 30,000 palm leaf and paper manuscripts, and Raja Raja Chola art gallery with ancient idols. After these visits, we will drive to your hotel in Madurai.

Day 6: Madurai city tour with Meenakshi Temple
Today your Kerala boat house package brings you Madurai. In the morning we will start the visits to one of biggest temples in India - Meenakshi Temple with a history of over 2,000 years; the exquisite Thirumalai Nayak Palace built in the 17th century; Alagar Hills with an ancient temple; and Gandhi Museum, which lots of personal possessions of Mahatma Gandhi are preserved.

Day 7: 5-hour drive from Madurai to Coimbatore, Coimbatore city tour
In the morning, we will drive to Coimbatore, also called Kovai and Koyamuthur. On arrival we will begin with a visit to the 12th-century Marudamalai Temple in the Dravidian architectural style.Then follow the visits to Eachanari Vinayagar Temple famous for the enormous sculpture of Lord Ganesha and the 2nd-century Perur Pateeswarar Temple.

Day 8: Private drive for 3h from Coimbatore to Ooty
Today your Alleppey houseboat package reaches to Ooty, which is called Udagamandalam officially. Our drive will start after breakfast and the stopovers are available en-route on your requests. Upon arrival, we will help you check in at your hotel.

Day 9: Ooty highlight tour with Botanical Gardens
Today we will visit Ooty, the Queen of hill stations. Our tour covers the Botanical Gardens full of countless kinds of vegetation, the Nigiris Mountain' highest point - Doddabetta Peak, and Raj Bhavan, a beautifully painted residence where the State Governor lives in summer.

Day 10: 6-7 hours road trip from Ooty to Munnar by private car
Today our Kerala boat house package will expand to Munnar. En-route we will make stopovers as you wish. After checking in at your hotel, you are free to arrange the rest of the day.

Day 11: Munnar city tour with Eravikulam National Park
After breakfast, we will start the Munnar tour with Eravikulam National Park, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and many other wildlife species live at ease. Then we will head to the Tea Museum to learn about the tea's development in this tea town from some machinery and photos about the tea production. Afterwards, we will go to the Top Station for enjoying a fabulous vista of the Munnar city, and stop at the Echo Point en-route. Lastly, our Munnar tour will end at Mattupetty, a hill station with boundless green vegetation. The place is famous for the beautiful Mattupetty Dam.

Day 12: Drive 3h from Munnar to Periyar
The next destination of your Kerala boat house package is Periyar, famous for the Periyar Tiger Reserve, a wildlife sanctuary with many endangered species of animals. Upon arrival, you will have an enjoyable cruise on the Periyar Lake, located at the center of the reserve. You could see some wildlife like deer, boar and birds and admire the picturesque scenery.

Day 13: Drive 3.5h from Periyar to Alleppey, Houseboat Cruise
After breakfast, we will drive to Alleppey, which is officially known as Alappuzha and honored as the Venice of the East. When we reach there, we will escort you to board your houseboat and help you with the check-in. Then comes a highlight of your Kerala boat house package - a cruise on the backwaters of Kerala. The mesmerizing landscapes, exotic lifestyles and authentic Kerala's cuisine will give you a lifetime experience. Tonight, you will also stay in your houseboat.

Day 14: Private drive for 1.5h from Alleppey to Kochi, Kochi city tour
In the morning, your houseboat will sail back to the dock and then we will drive to Kochi,earlier known as Cochin. Upon arrival, we will assist you to check in at your hotel and leave you with a break before your guided Kochi tour.

The first stop in Kochi is the Jew Town, popular for the combination of the architectural styles of many European and Asian countries. Then follow the visits to the Dutch Palace to admire the fine Kerala murals; the Kochi's oldest European church - St Francis Church built in the 16th century; and Jewish Synagogue famous for its long history and the interesting curios. Lastly, we will go to Kochi Harbor, where you will witness the ancient fishing nets originating from China. In the evening, you will have a chance to enjoy Kathakali on your own expense. It is a representative dance show of Kerala that dates back to the 17th century.
