Bhutan Weather in May

If you travel to Bhutan in May, you should go to the capital city Thimphu, in which you can visit the Buddha Dhordenma statue. When you climb the mountain to see the statue, you can also see the complete scenery of Thimphu Valley which makes the place be called ‘Glimpse of Bhutan’. Besides, you can go to the Thimphu Zoo in which you can see Pakin. It’s a kind of special species of flocks and herds, and it’s also the sacred country animal of Bhutan. Dochu La Pass is between Thimphu and Phunaka, in which you can not only admire the spectacle scene of Himalayas, but also visit the 108 pagodas. Punakha Dzong is the most beautiful Dzong in Bhutan in which you can see the blooming flowers, jacaranda acutifolia. Bumthang is picturesque valley with beautiful buildings and rural sceneries. Paro Dzong is a historiacal valley of Bhutan, in which you can visit the miracle temple Taksthang Goemba which is 3000 meters high and one of the ten super temples in the world. Besides, you can visit the most ancient temple in Bhutan, Kyichu Lhakhang and the Bhutan National Museum which has a large number of cultural relics hiding in it.
