Lake Kawaguchi August Clothes
Thin and quick-drying clothes are suitable to wear in this hot and rainy month. Specifically, a T-shirt in the upper and skirts/ shorts/ thin long trousers in the lower are recommended. Meanwhile, you need to pack a single-layer thin coat, which protects your skin when it is sunny and keeps you warm when it turns cold after heavy rainfall. For girls, they can wear dresses to take photos, but it is a little inconvenient when a strong wind suddenly blows. As for shoes, loose and breathable casual shoes and sneakers are very comfortable. Lake Kawaguchi August Travel Recommendation

Due to the frequent rain and high temperature, visiting indoor or cool attractions is a better choice, such as Narusawa Ice Cave and Fugaku Wind Cave. These 2 natural caves were formed from the eruption of Mount Fuji over 1,000 years ago. Their yearly temperatures range -3 - 3℃ (26.6 – 37.4℉). Visiting them in summer, you would feel very cool. Because of the low temperature, in the caves, you can watch the natural ice inside. Meanwhile, there are unique stalactite rocks for you to see.

If it is sunny and the temperature is mild, hiking Mount Fuji, taking Lake Kawaguchi Cruise to appreciate the landscape, and walking along the trail in Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park to appreciate the sea of hydrangea flowers are all top things to do.
