When is the best time to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces?
In general, May, June, September and October are the best months to visit the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces. From May to June, the terraced fields will be filled with water which reflects sunlight like mirrors, and you can observe local farmers busily transplanting rice seedlings. When the autumn harvest season comes, there will be golden rice undulating in the breeze. Nevertheless, the rice terraces and its surrounding villages still offer spectacular scenery and unique ethnic customs in other months of the year.
