Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Welcome to Cambodia! When your flight lands at Phnom Penh International Airport today, you will find your guide is waiting for you there. A comfortable drive will then take you to the hotel.
The hotel you will stay is not far from the bustling river front area and the Royal Palace. Late in the afternoon, you may take a stroll there to feel the breeze from river, see local’s leisure life in the Palace Square and catch amazing sunset over the Royal Palace.

Day 2: Phnom Penh city highlights
Being the charming capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh has a lot to offer including history, architecture, culture and food. Today your guide will take you to travel through this vibrant city. Start your morning visits from the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (former S-21) and the Choeung EK Killing Fields, which will reveal the untold stories of Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge regime for you. You will then be led to the National Museum to admire over 15,000 exhibits of Khmer arts from the Angkor period. Finally, round off the day with a visit to the Royal Palace, which is still the dwelling place of the King of Cambodia and his family. The Silver Pagoda inside is a particular highlight, well known for its elaborate silver tiled floor and a priceless emerald Buddha statue. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 3: Phnom Penh - Kampong Cham - Kampong Thom
After breakfast in the hotel, you will take a comfortable ride for around 2.5 hours to Kampong Cham, where you are able to enjoy a peaceful rural landscape and visit Wat Nokor, an Angkorian temple dating from the 11th century. Then continue to drive and stop at the sacred hills of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei to see historic temples on top and the exceptional view of the surrounding area. In another 3 hours, you will arrive at Kampong Thom and check into the hotel. Spend the late afternoon on a pleasant walking tour through some nearby villages and climbing the 980 steps to the top of Phnom Santuk for a superb sunset view. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 4: Kampong Thom - Siem Reap
The whole morning will be devoted to visiting Sambor Prei Kuk, whose main temples are divided into three complexes, all dedicated to Shiva. Enjoy the serene atmosphere as you wander through these 7th century brick monuments, artfully scattered around the jungle. It was listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site in 2017. After the lunch break, we will head for Siem Reap by a 3-hour private drive. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 5: Siem Reap Angkor temples
Today comes the most highlight part of your trip. Get up earlier this morning since you will be escorted to admire the marvelous sunrise over Angkor Wat. Your guide will find you a good place to enjoy and shoot this grand scene. Later, you will travel through this temple, an architectural masterpiece of the world. After breakfast in the hotel, you will follow the guide to explore Angkor Thom, the capital city of Khmer Empire. The mysterious Khmer smile of Bayon Temple, the exquisite carvings and sculptures of the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of Leper King will amaze you. Leaving the city, you will continue to explore the nearby Angkorian sites, including Takeo Temple and Ta Prohm Temple with the famous Tomb Raider tree. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 6: Siem Reap - Angkor Temples - floating villages
This morning, we will drive along countryside road to the temple of Banteay Srei, which is well-known for its exquisite and intricate carvings in hard pink sandstone and reputed to be the "Jewel of Angkor Art." On the way back, we will visit Preah Khan Temple. After lunch, your guide will take you to the Tonle Sap Lake to find the mysterious floating villages. Take a boat to travel through the villages and see the hard life of the people there. You will get to know how they sleep on such small boats, how they cook and what they are living on. Finally, we will sightsee at the Angkor Archaeological Park and arrive at Phnom Krohm Mountain at sundown as the scenery there is splendid at that time. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 7: Siem Reap - Koh Ker - Beng Mealea
Today you will discover the hidden gems of Cambodia. You will be first driven for around 2.5 hours to Koh Ker. Also known as Chok Gargvar, this region once served as the capital of Jayavarman IV until his son and successor, Harshavarman I, moved the capital back to Angkor. Setting in the jungle that stretches for several kilometers, there are many temple ruins here. The highlights are Prasat Bram, Prasat Krahom and the pyramid Prasat Thnom. On the way back to Siem Reap, you will take a visit to Beng Mealea, a sprawling jungle temple, which remains in a ruined state. Many photography enthusiasts are attracted here. Day 8: Siem Reap - Battambang
Today you will leave for Battambang, the "rice-bowl" of the country. In about 3.5 hours, you will arrive and check into the hotel. After the lunch break, you will wander around the city to see the colonial buildings under the company of your guide. Then experience a one-hour bamboo train ride through hills, fields, orchards and countryside. Afterwards, you will go a little further to climb up the hill of Phnom Sampov, where you will see the spectacular Bat Cave, a hilltop temple and an execution field under the Khmer Rouge. Day 9: Battambang - Kompong Chnang - Phnom Penh
After breakfast, we will drive around 4 to 5 hours back to Phnom Penh and have a stopover at Kompong Chnang to see a large and less touristy floating village in Kompong Luong, where 1,200 families with a population of 7,000 are living. You must be curious about: Why do these communities stay here? Why do they choose to live on the water? Can they move to the land? Your professional guide will take you to uncover the history! After arrival in Phnom Penh, you will check into the same hotel that you have stayed previously. Take a good rest in the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 10: Phonm Penh - Takeo - Kep
Check out from the hotel and then we will head for Kep, a seaside destination. In the midway, you will visit Phnom Chisor, an ancient hilltop temple from the Angkor period, offering a rare view of the surrounding countryside. Then you will explore the beautiful ruins of the former French colonial resort, Kep-Sur-Mer. Continue on to the quiet town of Takeo. Upon arrival at Kep, check into a beautiful hilltop resort overlooking the sea, featuring Khmer-style wooden bungalows. This resort is about 11-minute walk from the beach. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 11: Enjoy leisure time in Kep
After discovering temples and countryside of Cambodia, you will enjoy a relaxing day in Kep today. Laze on the beach and enjoy sundowners. Your resort is about10 minutes’ walk to the local Crab Market, and the Kep National Park, whichis a perfect place to hike through the lush green jungle. It is convenient for you to explore them on your own. Meals: Breakfast

Day 12: Kep - Kampot - Sihanoukville - Koh Rong Island
After breakfast, we will leave Kep and drive to Sihanoukville. In about 40 minutes, we will come to Kampot, where you will visit a beautiful pepper farm and travel around this charming town. Then continue to drive for around 2.5 hours, you will arrive in Sihanoukville. Under the assistance of your guide, you will catch a 45-minute speedboat to Koh Rong Island. On arrival, you will be met and taken to the hotel, which offers a private beach area and luxury with sea views in all rooms. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 13: Enjoy leisure time at Koh Rong Island
No planned activities for the following two days. You can travel freely in this island paradise, either enjoying relaxing time on the beach or taking part in some water activities like snorkeling, scuba diving to see the most exquisite marine life. With its unique in natural and untouched beauty, many newly-weds choose this place to spend their honeymoon. Meals: Breakfast

Day 14: Enjoy leisure time at Koh Rong Island

Day 15: Koh Rong Island - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh Departure
This morning, you will take the speedboat back to the pier where you will be met and driven for around 4 hours to Phnom Penh International Airport to catch your leaving flight. Your 2 weeks Cambodia tour will round off today. We wish you a nice journey home!
