Day 1: Arrival in Baku; Airport Pick-up
Welcome to Baku, the world’s lowest-lying capital city! Upon your arrival at Baku Airport, your driver will warmly greet you and escort you to your hotel on the Caspian Sea coast in about 30 minutes. After checking in, you may relax in your hotel room or take a stroll nearby on your own.

 Packing Tips from Insiders
1. Bring long-sleeved clothing and trousers. Although Azerbaijan is a secular Muslim country and young people in Baku dress fashionably, please avoid exposing your shoulders and knees when visiting religious sites. Additionally, you may bring a headscarf as a sign of respect.
2. Take a pair of comfortable walking shoes, which is suitable for hiking in the forests of Gabala, as well as walking on the cobblestone streets of Baku Old City.
3. It is not recommended to bring dresses or skirts. Baku is close to the sea and is often windy, so wearing light clothing may be inconvenient.
