Day 1: Arrival in Melbourne When you arrive at Melbourne International Airport, our driver-guide will pick you up with a welcome board at the exit and escort you to the hotel in downtown. Then you can enjoy the time freely and explore the city by yourself. Accommodation: Crowne Plaza Melbourne (4 stars)
Day 2: Half Day Melbourne City Tour Our itinerary today covers the top scenic spots and historical architectures in Melbourne. Along the way, your driver-guide will give you a detailed introduction to the city. As the shopping paradise of Australia, Melbourne is the home to many modern shopping centers and boutiques with world-class brands and commodities. In the downtown area, you will see the masterpieces of the city's architectures, including St. Pauls Cathedral and the Princess and Regent Theatres. Followed by sightseeing the Royal Exhibition Buildings and Federation Square. Afterwards, we will stroll in the Royal Botanic Gardens to appreciate the beautiful rare plants and pay a visit to Fitzroy Gardens with an area of 26 hectares. These gardens are highly valued because of the history and gardening significance. We will then stop by the bustling Queen Victoria Market, Albert Park & home court of Australian Grand Prix. A photo stop at Shrine of Remembrance will follow. This is a war memorial hall initially built to memorize the soldiers of State of Victoria served in the WWI and now it is for all the Australians served in the war. Today's tour will end in the Federation Square at noon. The whole afternoon will be your own free time. Day 3: Sightseeing Trip of Great Ocean Road You will be led to visit the wonder of Great Ocean Road today. First, we will tour the famous seaside town Lorne which is a surfing paradise. At noon, stop at Apollo Bay to have lunch and then continue to drive along Great Ocean Road afterwards. Along the way, you will see the high limestone cliffs, white beaches and amazing forest scenery. At Twelve Apostles, you can witness the spectacular wonder of natural erosion and appreciate the scenery of the sea at different observation decks. Next, the driver-guide will lead you to Port Campbell National Park where you will learn about the tragic history of more than 50 shipwrecks on the rugged coastline. Day 5: Half Day Sydney City Tour A half-day tour will be arranged in Sydney for you to visit Rocks area & Sydney Opera House, appreciate the splendid scenery of the port and city skylines at Mrs. Macquarie's Chair and wander along the coastline of the country's most famous surfing beach Bondi Beach. The next stop is the entrance of Sydney Harbour called Gap. It is located at the east coast of Sydney and you can enjoy the charming coastline scenery here. Day 6: Sydney Highlights with Blue Mountains In the morning, we will drive to Blue Mountains and en route visit the ancient Leura Village. We can go sightseeing by railway, cableway or skyway. At Echo Point, you can appreciate the spectacular scenery of Megalong and Jamison Valleys and the Three Sisters. Then head to Featherdale Wildlife Park to get close to the local wildlife, like kangaroos, wallabies, emus and cute koalas. In the end, take a boat along Parramatta River to Sydney Harbour and enjoy the scenery during the cruise. Disembark at Darling Harbour or Circular Quay and then go back to the hotel by yourself.
