The Terracotta Army was buried beside the mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang, who according the legend wanted to continue his governance even in his afterlife. It is reputed to be the eighth wonder of the world. Considered as one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world, it attracts numerous admiring visitors and provides rich resources to help us understand more about the burials, rituals and culture of the ancient emperors of China.
