Day 1: Arrival in Xi'an
Welcome to Xi'an! After you claim your luggage and pass through airport Custom, you will find our guide waiting for you. After a greeting, you will be escorted to your hotel. We recommend that you have a short rest in your hotel room to get prepare for the day’s activities.

Our tour will start with a hike on the Xi'an City Wall, the largest and most complete ancient city wall in China, built in the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644). It surrounds the inner city of Xi'an and has a total length of 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles). The wall is 12-14 meters (13-15 yards) wide which, in ancient times, was large enough for chariots to pass abreast during military activities. You could also rent a bike or take an electric car if you like, both at your own expense.

Day 2: Xi'an
After breakfast, we will spend most of the day visiting the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors Museum. It is the largest ancient military museum in China, built on the original site of the Terracotta Warriors. The life-size terracotta warriors, horses and chariots together formed a powerful underground army that has guarded the mausoleum of the first emperor of China's first centralized feudal empire for over 2,200 years. The nearly 8,000 terracotta warriors have a high artistic value and, due to their age, a deep cultural significance. If looked at carefully, you will see that each individual warrior has a different appearance and manner. You can recognize their military ranks and units through their clothes and weapons.

Afterwards, we will drive back to the downtown area of the city to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. With over 1,300 years of history, the 7-storey tower used to store Buddhist sutras delivered from ancient India. It is a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture and records the development of Buddhism in China. Then we will continue by visiting the Shaanxi History Museum. Through the abundant cultural relics displayed there, you can learn about the advances of Chinese civilization from a prehistoric society through the 19th century - a time span of over one million years.

Standing there for centuries, with distinctive Chinese characteristics, it is a large Muslim architectural complex and an important part of Chinese national culture. After that, we will stroll around the surrounding Muslim Street, where you can experience the Muslim life style, taste some special snacks and buy some souvenirs if you want. Then we will pay a visit to a local family who will serve you a delicious home-cooked a la carte lunch. They might even teach you to cook some local dishes.

Afterwards, your guide will take you back to your hotel, and later accompany you to the airport for your homebound flight. We sincerely hope that this 3 days Xi'an tour met your expectations. Thanks for your trust, and we wish you a pleasant journey home.
