After breakfast, we will spend most of the day visiting the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors Museum. It is the largest ancient military museum in China, built on the original site of the Terracotta Warriors. The life-size terracotta warriors, horses and chariots together formed a powerful underground army that has guarded the mausoleum of the first emperor of China's first centralized feudal empire for over 2,200 years. The nearly 8,000 terracotta warriors have a high artistic value and, due to their age, a deep cultural significance. If looked at carefully, you will see that each individual warrior has a different appearance and manner. You can recognize their military ranks and units through their clothes and weapons.
Afterwards, we will drive back to the downtown area of the city to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. With over 1,300 years of history, the 7-storey tower used to store Buddhist sutras delivered from ancient India. It is a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture and records the development of Buddhism in China. Then we will continue by visiting the Shaanxi History Museum. Through the abundant cultural relics displayed there, you can learn about the advances of Chinese civilization from a prehistoric society through the 19th century - a time span of over one million years.
