  1

  Arrival in Port Moresby

  Upon arrival at Port Moresby, the capital city of Papua New Guinea, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and rest for the remaining day.

  2

  Port Moresby - Tari Gap

  Transfer to the airport for the flight to Tari and then go to the lodge for check-in. In the afternoon, you can have a guided walk in the rain forest, visit the Tari Gap area, or view the birds of paradise.

  Tari Gap

  Tari Gap is situated at 7000 feet above sea level in the southern highlands, bordering on the primitive tropical rainforest and the valley grassland. This good location offers tourists the lasting spring weather and splendid views of the Tari Valley.

  4

  Tari - Sepik River

  Transfer to the airport for the flight to Karawari. After arrival, you will take a boat to MV Sepik Spirit, a “floating lodge” which is designed to explore the Sepik River. The boatmen will guide you to visit customs of different tribes, help you choose the sculptures and artwork, and distinguish various species of birds and flora and fauna.

  5

  Sepik River

  Two days will be spent on the cruise on the Sepik River. You will observe the canoe drifting, watch the set fish traps and enjoy the harvest, and join the children and have fun.

  6

  Sepik River - Karawari

  Transfer to Karawari and then check in the Karawari hotel. The hotel is situated in the dense tropical rainforest which offer a good view. In the afternoon you will participate in the activities held by the lodge.

  7

  Karawari - Mt. Hagen

  Today, you will transfer to Karawari Airport by bus and then take a flight to the Mt. Hagen. Located in central mainland Papua New Guinea, Mt. Hagen is the capital of the Western Highlands Province and also the commercial center. On arrival, you will transfer to take a half-day- trip of Mudmen. After the trip you will back to the airport for a flight to Port Moresby and check in the local lodge.

  8

  Departure from Port Moresby

  The whole morning is free on your own and you may choose to stroll around to do some shopping. In the afternoon you will go to the airport for your outgoing international flight.
