The Legend of Genghis Khan:
Genghis Khan was an outstanding military strategist and politician. Genghis Khan, along with Napoleon, Caesar the Great, and Peter the Great, was a great figure who influenced and shook the world. His father was poisoned when he was nine. Legend has it that he had already grown into a legendary boy when he was thirteen. He could summon eagles in the sky with his singing voice, or easily raised his hand and bent his bow to shoot large eagles. His hatred scares the enemies so they planned to kill him. After years' of escape, he gradually became an eagle of the grassland that frightened the enemy and finally he established the country of Mongolia.

Dadal is the birthplace of Genghis Khan and is now a settlement of the Buryat Mongols, it is also a pilgrimage site for the Mongols. Russian style wooden houses, hidden in the thick camphor pine forest, are well arranged. There are very few pedestrians on the streets, and occasionally people ride horses. It seems that this place is indeed a country on horseback, because even very young children ride their horses leisurely on the streets.

A Nation with Wolf Totem:
Why did the Mongols regard wolf as their national totem? One is a kind of psychology of worship caused by fear, the second is the worship caused by gratitude, as many legends say that wolves rescued the ancestors of a certain nation. In addition, curiosity can also cause worship. Wolves have many habits similar to those of humans, so someone believe that wolves are their ancestors and regard them as totem.

A Mongolian herdsman family is like this: a yurt, a couple, three or four dogs, five or six children, dozens or hundreds of sheep, and of course, horses. Mother milks sheep or cow every day with her little daughter, older children herd sheep on horseback, and father does some daily routine, this kind of the life style has lasted for centuries.
