What to Wear in Mexico in May

1. Due to the hot weather and strong ultraviolet rays during the day, breathable clothes and shoes, including T-shirts, dresses, skirts, thin jeans, short pants, sandals, and sun protection items like sunscreen, hats and sunglasses are suggested.

2. At night, if you are outdoors, it would be better to put on a thin hoodie or thin shirt. 

3. Because the temperature is climbing and insects become active, long sleeve shirts and long pants will be needed if you are going to forests or jungles.

4. Since it often rains, raingear is needed, such as umbrellas, raincoats and rain boots.

Tips: 

Make sure that your outfits are adaptable to local culture when traveling in Mexico. Swimsuits are suitable only at the seaside. Short pants and skirts are inappropriate when visiting cathedrals.
