Central Mexico Weather in July

Southeastern Mexico Weather in July

Southeastern Mexico has hot and humid weather as a whole in July. The monthly maximum average temperature is around 35℃ (95℉). 1. Breathable summer clothes are basic, such as T-shirts, light pants and dresses. If you are heading to the seaside, sandals and swimsuits are needed. When you are in rural attractions, cover your skin as much as possible to avoid insect bites, which makes long sleeve shirts and pants necessary. Besides, it is better to wear long sleeve shirts and pants when you are on formal occasions, such as in high-end restaurants or viewing religious attractions.

2. Sun protection is needed when traveling because the ultraviolet ray is strong.

3. In central Mexico, you may need a thin jacket because of the lower temperature.

4. Falling in the rainy season, raingears including umbrellas, raincoats and rain boots are necessities when traveling to Mexico in July.

5. Mosquito repellents are also indispensable. You can also find them locally, but they may be more expensive.

Monte Alban in Oaxaca suburb had been the political and cultural center of Zapotec Civilization (500 BC-1500) for about 1,000 years. As one of the largest civilization centers in Central Americas at that period, Zapotec characters have a longer history than Mayan’s, which makes Monte Alban famous for its abundant steles and inscriptions.

2. Cancun

If you don’t mind some showers in July, it could be the last chance to enjoy summer in Cancun when you can enjoy water activities or encounter rainbows after showers since the next months, the hurricanes are usually frequent.
