Tour around Mauritius

Our tours will start from the northern part of the island country. In the morning, our chauffeur guide will pick you up from your hotel and go to Chateau De Labourdonnais, an old residence surrounded by orchards of multiple fruits, which were planted by the ex-host in the 19th century. Then we'll visit SSR Botanic Garden in Pamplemousses. Also called Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, it is a very large place with countless tropical plants, out of which the most attractive one is the world's largest amazon water lily. Next, we will learn about the local cane sugar's making process at L'Aventure du Sucre, a special museum of cane sugar. Have lunch on your own. Your chauffeur guide would ask your preferences and recommend suitable restaurants nearby for you.

In the afternoon, we are going to drive to Port Louis. In the capital and largest city in Mauritius, we will visit traditional Central Market with a lot of local specialties, handcrafts, daily uses, fruits and vegetables, etc. After that, Caudan Waterfront is also a large market, where you can look up to the open umbrellas overhead and take photos. Finally, we will get to Aapravasi Ghat, the first settlement site of indentured labors who left their homeland to make a living overseas. There are the old houses and small hospital of these immigrants. At the end of the day, send you back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port. After taking the catamaran with other tourists, you are to enjoy the rest of the day on small Ile Aux Cerfs Island. Apart from the beautiful beach, Ile Aux Cerfs is popular for the exciting water sports. Under our arrangement, you can go for paragliding, underwater walking, and kayaking. You may also pay for other sports on the spot. Afterwards you'll be transferred back to your hotel.

Go on our Mauritius private tour to the southwestern region. We are going to explore Casela Nature Parks today, which is a large African wildlife park with 160 species of birds and myriad herds of animals living there. Lunch is on your own, but the chauffeur guide will tell you some good restaurants close by.

We will go to Trou aux Cerfs in the afternoon, which is an incredible carter in this volcano island country. You can have a full view to the dormant carter and dense jungles in the surroundings. Then we are to admire Black River Gorges at the Black River Gorges Viewpoint. Passing by Chamarel Waterfalls, we will get to Chamarel Viewpoint for seeing the waterfalls and the coast on high. Afterwards we will go for a natural wonder nearby – Chamarel 7 Colored Earth, where you can see a large area of rolling colorful earth mounds. At last, seeing the sunset at Tamarin Beach would be a relaxing thing in Mauritius and drop-off to your hotel will be offered.

You will be escorted to travel around the southeastern part of the country. First, get to Eau Bleu Waterfall to enjoy the clear waterfalls in jungles. Then we'll go to see Pont Natural Bridge, a giant black rock bridge formed by sea erosion. With the waves beating the rocks under the bridge, it's thrilling to stand on it. We will also go to Le Souffleur. At the hidden bay, the rough tide spouts out of the hole in the rocks, looking like an extremely big whale sporting waters. Next, visit Tookay Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Mauritius as it is multicolored with small and big sculptures.

After watching the winding coast full of black rocks and the waves lashing the cliffs at Gris Gris Cliffs & Beach, we'll walk for around 600 meters (656 yards) to La Roche Qui Pleure, a rock looking like a crying man. Later we will see Rochester Falls in secluded woods, and Baie Du Cap Coastal Road – Mauritius' prettiest cape stretching into the sea. You can climb the steps to Maconde Viewpoint on the top of the cape, to overlook the U-shaped coastal road around the cape and the sea. Lastly, enjoy the sunset at La Prairie Beach. Then the tour will end and your chauffeur guide will give you a drop-off to your hotel.
