Maldives Honeymoon to Dhiffushi

This morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to take a speedboat for an exciting snorkeling adventure! Located in North Male Atoll, Dhiffushi enjoys excellent sea resources. We’ll dive into the Coral Garden in the azure sea, and admire a kaleidoscope of starfish, shellfish, and brightly colored reef fish like triggerfish, damselfish, and butterflyfish. Coral reefs are seen as the underwater tropical rainforests, and these creatures are the protector and cleaner of the delicate corals. You’ll also swim with elegant turtles and see reef sharks in the water.
► Note: Please avoid touching the corals, and use eco-friendly sunscreen during your snorkeling. 

After that, your guide will accompany you back to your hotel, and the rest of the day is free for you. The Downtown Restaurant, only a 5-minute walk south of your hotel, is a good choice for lunch. It serves local cuisines like Maldivian curries and grilled fish, as well as western food like burgers. The average cost is around USD 15 per person. You may enjoy your afternoon on the South Beach, lying on a beach chair under the tree, and overlooking the glassy sea in varying shades of blue. Late in the afternoon, you may watch a brilliant sunset here in the hammock over the water, and see the local fishing boats return to the island.

This evening, if the weather and sea condition permit, we’ll prepare a special beach dinner for you, on a nearby beachfront venue or sandbank. Have a fresh seafood barbecue in the sound of the gentle waves and the smell of the salty wind, and enjoy your island time with your beloved in a tranquil and cozy atmosphere.

The first half of the day is free for you to explore the island! How about starting your day by watching a stunning sunrise on the East Beach? Dhiffushi, also known as the “Sunrise Island”, receives the Maldives’ first ray of sunshine every day. Then, you may go diving at the West Rock Wreck to discover the shipwreck from 30 years ago underwater. Get close to more species of marine life like morays, stingrays and even nurse sharks. Dhiffushi offers island activities for all tastes, and for your safety, please book your excursions from licensed operators. 

Before sundown, your guide will meet you at your hotel and escort you to take a surprising sunset cruise. It’s the time when the spinner dolphins become active for feeding and socializing near the shore. If lucky, you may watch their dorsal fins effortlessly slicing the sparkling water. They may leap out and splash into the sea, which is to stretch their muscles and remove the parasites on their skin. Take in the splendid views of the sea in a golden hue. After the cruise, your guide will accompany you back to your hotel.

It’s time to say goodbye! In the morning, your guide will escort you to take a 40-minute speedboat back to Male, and then you’ll enjoy a private car transfer to the airport.
