Day 1: Arrive in Accra, Airport Pick-up
Welcome to Accra of Ghana! As soon as you arrive in Kotoka International Airport (ACC), you will meet our driver guide at the exit and then be sent to the hotel. Have a good rest after check-in and your Ghana safari tour will start with a visit to Shai Hills Reserve tomorrow.

Day 2: Visit Shai Hills Reserve and drive to Akosombo
After breakfast, we will drive to Shai Hills Resource Reserve. The forest guide will lead you to visit Shai people's ancestral caves on foot. The wild animals in the reserve are equally eye-catching, such as Kobs, Olives Baboons, Green Monkeys, and many kinds of birds. After, drive to Akosombo and stay overnight there.

Day 3: Visit Aksombo and nearby places
We are going to visit Wli waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Ghana after breakfast. Before seeing the waterfall, we will pass through dense tropical forests and cross the winding Agumatsa river. Later, visit Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. The cute and naughty Mona Monkeys are on the verge of extinction but are well protected here as they are considered sacred by the local people. We will take a walk on a trail and watch the monkeys live freely in their natural habitat. After a short break, continue to Gbledi Gbogame and drive to the foot of Ghana's highest mountain, Mountain Afadjato. From there, hike up the mountain and traverse steep trails. After less than two hours of uphill hikig, we will reach the top and enjoy the amazing scenery. Next, we will travel to Golowait and then to Tagbo falls. Have a 45-minute walk to view the beautiful scenery. In the end, drive back to the hotel before sunset.

Day 4: Drive to Kumasi, Kumasi city tour
This morning we will first drive to Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti Kingdom. There, we will visit the Manhiya Palace, which was the official residence of Ashanti kings until 1974. It is now a museum with precious objects related to the Ashanti kingdom. We will also see the Okomfo Sword. It is known as the symbol of the unity of the Ashanti kingdom.

Day 5: Ashanti craft village visiting
Today we are going to visit three Ashanti craft villages. The first one is the woodcarving village of Ashwiaa that is famous for its handmade high stools and walking sticks. You can buy various carvings here. The next is the village of Ntonso, where craftsmen hand-print patterns on cotton cloth and you can learn how to make black dye from the bark. Then we will head to the village of Bonwire, the production site of kente cloth. The famous kente cloth is hand-made on a loom that has been passed down from generation to generation. If you like, you can buy some as souvenirs. In the afternoon, visit Kumasi Kejetia Market, which is the largest open-air market in West Africa with more than 10,000 vendors.

Day 6: Transfer to Tamale
In the morning, depart from Kumasi to Tamale in northern Ghana and visit Buabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, famed as the most famous example of traditional African protected areas. It is also the essential part of our Ghana safaris. There are more than 200 Geoffrey's Pied Columbus and over 500 Campbell's Mona Monkeys. For more than 150 years, the people here believe that monkeys are sacred animals and are prohibited harming monkeys. Check into the hotel upon arrival in Tamale.

Day 7: Explore the Mole National Park
Depart in the morning to Mole National Park. Located in the northwest of Ghana, it is the largest wildlife sanctuary in Ghana and boasts African grasslands and riparian ecosystems. Accompanied by an experienced safari guide, we will encounter untamed but friendly African Bush Elephant, African Buffalo, Hyena, Roan Antelope, Vervet Monkeys and other animals. The next stop is the Laranbaga Mosque, which is one of the oldest mosques in West Africa, known as the "West African Mecca".

Day 8: Drive to Cape Coast
Today we will drive to the Cape Coast. Before getting there, we will stop at the gold mining towns of Obuasi and Assin Manso, where two famous slaves from the United States and Jamaica are buried. Visit the "Slave River", where the captured Africans were cleansed and then imprisoned in the slave fort. They were then unfortunately shipped to America and the Caribbean. In the evening, visit the historical town of Elmina.

Day 9: A trip to Elmina and Cape Coast Castle
Visit the Elmina Castle built by the Portuguese in 1482. It was originally established as a goods trade transit station, but later it became one of the most important stops on the Atlantic slave trade line. In the afternoon, we will tour the Cape Coast Castle and Castle Museum. After being imprisoned here, African slaves were sent to the weekly boats, and their life of suffering in America began.

Day 10: Visit Kakum National Park, drive back to Accra
The first attraction of today is one of the most famous parks in Ghana: Kakum National Park. While walking in the forest, you can look for various birds and butterflies, and even find mammals such as monkeys and forest elephants. The most popular place for tourists in the Park is the Canopy walkway, which consists of 7 suspension bridges extending 330 meters and suspended at a height of 30 meter above the ground. At noon, pass the village of Abandze, the hometown of the famous American Jazz musician Louis Armstrong. Finally, we will drive back to Accra.

Day 11: Accra city tour, depart from Accra
First we will visit the Independence Square and then head to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where the first president of Ghana rested. Located in a charming garden and connected to the museum, this park has a large number of photos and handicrafts introducing the life of Dr. Nkrumah. There is also a National Culture Centre nearby, famed as the largest outdoor handicraft market in West Africa. If interested, you may pick up some souvenirs here. After the trip, we will send you to the airport for your onward flight.
