As you walk through airport customs, you will see our local guide waiting in the arrival hall. After a short greeting, the guide will accompany you to the hotel and help you check-in so that you can get settled as quickly as possible.

At the beginning of our China tours from Shanghai, we will visit Shanghai Museum. It is a large modern museum of Chinese ancient art. The artwork there includes seals, jade wares, bronze wares, china wares, sculptures, calligraphies and paintings. Then we will move to Yu Garden, relaxing our bodies and minds while enjoying its classical and pleasant landscape.

Around noon, there will be a delicious a la carte welcome lunch waiting for you to enjoy. After that, we will take a leisurely walk in the Bund area to feel its charm through the old buildings of multinational architectural styles and impressive modern skyscrapers. Then a cruise ship to go sightseeing on the Huangpu River is specially arranged for you. Later, we will hang out at a cultural street before returning to your hotel.

This morning is left for you to relax at your hotel or continue to explore nearby places. You could pay a visit the Former French Concession. It is a magical and quiet place in this busy international city. Walking along the avenues covered by old plane trees, you could see many beautiful European-style buildings built in the early 20th century.

In the afternoon, the Shanghai guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport before you fly to Guilin. Once you arrive, the local guide in Guilin will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.

This morning, we will go to Reed Flute Cave, one of the highlights of our tours from Shanghai.

The spectacular stalactites of various shape look amazing under those colorful and changing lights, which makes this karst cave into a wonderland. Then we will visit the Seven Star Park. This comprehensive park is like an epitome of the Guilin landscape. Strolling at it, we could see great mountains, beautiful rivers, amazing caves, strange rocks and ancient buildings.

After that, we will head for Elephant Trunk Hill. Standing beside the Li River, it looks like a huge elephant drinking water from the river. Then we will proceed to Fubo Mountain, a steep solitary mountain near the Li River with antique attics and pavilions built on it as well as interesting rocks inside the caves.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will follow our guide to board the Li River cruise ship. As we sail to Yangshuo County, we may see continuous karst peaks, smooth water amazingly mirroring the picturesque scenery of both banks, fishermen fishing on their bamboo rafts and farmers farming the green fields.

Upon arrival at Yangshuo, we will disembark and drive to the Yangshuo countryside. The rural scenery there is peaceful and splendid. You will be invited to a farmer's house where you can get a general idea of what their daily life is like. After that, we will drive back to the hotel in Yangshuo and settle down for the night.

Today we will drive back to Guilin airport for the flight to Chengdu. When you arrive at Chengdu airport, our Chengdu guide will meet you in the arrival hall and then send you to the hotel. After checking into the hotel, you can arrange the remaining day freely. Have a wonderful night before carrying on the trips from Shanghai.

After breakfast, we will set off to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center where we can watch the cute pandas closely and learn more about their daily activities as well as the natural environment of this national treasure. Then we will explore the history of Chengdu through cultural relics displayed at Jinsha Site Museum.

After that, we will stroll down Broad and Narrow Alleys, a famous historical and cultural street in Chengdu, where we can see many antique quadrangle dwellings and streets preserved from the Qing dynasty (1636 - 1912).

In the morning, you will be escorted to the airport and board the airplane flying to Xi'an. Upon your arrival, you will see our Xi'an guide waiting at the airport and later follow the guide to your hotel.

After a short rest, we will go to the Shaanxi History Museum. We will get acquainted with the history of this ancient capital city and ancient Chinese civilization through its abundant relics from prehistoric society to 1840. Then we will visit Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a famous historical site in Xi'an, which has witnessed the process of Buddhism's introduction and localization.

Today's trip will start with a visit to the Terracotta Army. The army consists of over 8,000 terracotta warriors and several bronze war horses and chariots, which were buried next to the mausoleum of Emperor Qinshihuang (259BC - 210BC) for more than 2,200 years. Each of the warriors was vividly carved and their facial features are never the same.

About noon, we will visit a local family, where we can enjoy a tasty home-made lunch and spend some happy time chatting or even learning how to cook local dishes from the family.

After that, we will visit Xi'an City Wall, the largest ancient city wall in China. Then we will set off for the Great Mosque, which is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture and Muslim architecture.

Today the Xi'an guide will send you to the railway station for the 4.5-hour high speed train to Beijing. The local guide in Beijing will meet you at the railway station and transfer you to your hotel. After a short rest, our tours from Shanghai continues. We will see the Temple of Heaven, the largest royal sacrificial architectural complex existing in China. The ancient emperors used to worship the heaven and prayed for a good harvest year there.

In the morning, we will set off to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world, which now serves as one of the most important centers for political activities in China. Then we will walk through the square to visit the Forbidden City. It was the center of supreme power for more than 5 and the residence for 24 emperors in the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1912).

Around noon, we will have an a la carte lunch at a nice restaurant. Then we will go for a walk at the Summer Palace, in the most complete ancient royal garden in China where we can see many splendid palaces, temples, and pavilions while enjoying the natural landscape with hills and lakes.

After breakfast, we will spend most of the day visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall, another highlight of the trips from Shanghai. This section of the Great Wall fully shows the natural beauty and the splendor of human civilization. To reach the wall comfortably, we will take a round-trip cable car.

During the trip back to the city, we will stop at the Bird's Nest awhile so that you can take some pictures there. Then we will continue our journey to Beijing Hutong. You can take a rickshaw to explore its old alleys and feel its rich flavor of life.
