Today, please arrive in Larnaca International Airport. Whenever you arrive, our local guide will pick you up on time and transfer you to the hotel in Nicosia we carefully select for you. If it is late in the day, have a good rest in the room to get ready for the coming-up sightseeing. If it is early in the day, make full use of the time to get the first impression of the city on your own.

► Tips: The city is divided into two halves and dwelled by two different nationalities. Bring the passport with you if you want to cross the “line” to visit the other half.

At the agreed time, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and set off for the escorted sightseeing officially. The first stop will be Ledra Street, a pedestrian street lined with souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and more. It is also divided into two sections and we will visit the section in old town area. The next stop will be Leventis Municipal Museum not far away. The exhibitions here span from Chalcolithic era about 5,000 years ago to present day, including delicate clothes, daily items, pictures and so on. The next stop will be Venetian Walls. Surrounding the old town of Nicosia, it is the largest and best-preserved historical relics in the city with a length of 5 kilometers (3 miles) and a height of 12 meters (39.4 feet). It is roughly in circle, with 11 fortifications on top at an equal interval.

We continue to explore the south Nicosia. Famagusta Gate, the House of Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios and Green Line will be scheduled for you. Then, you will be accompanied to visit Buyuk Han. Originally a caravanserai built in 1572, it is the most impressive Ottoman architecture in Cyprus. You may also appreciate some handmade artworks there. More places to be explored are Grand Bazaar, Arasta Quarter, Venetian Column, Samanbahçe Quarter and Arabahmet Quarter. Finally, we will transfer you back to the hotel in Nicosia.

After breakfast, we will drive to the Kyrenia Mountain Range which is 30 kilometers (17 miles) north of Nicosia. Here you will visit the Saint Hilarion Castle, a fairy-tale fortress which was the inspiration of castle in the ‘’Snow White and Seven Dwarfs’’. Located on the hilltop, it offers stunning panorama views of Kyrenia and the Mediterranean Sea. Then we will travel to the Bellapais Monastery, which is a remarkable piece of Gothic architecture in Cyprus.

In the afternoon, we will drive on to Kyrenia, where you will visit a 16-century Kyrenia Castle and its noted shipwreck museum. Also you will spend some leisure time to stroll around the Kyrenia Harbour to experience the deep history of this city as well as to enjoy its relaxing vibe. After the visit, we will transfer you back to the hotel in Nicosia.

In the morning, we’ll move on to Paphos in the southwest of Cyprus, which is around 1 hour and 40 minutes’ drive away from Nicosia. Paphos is the hometown of Aphrodite, the goddess of love in Greek mythologies. In Roman mythologies, she is well-known as Venus. In 1980, the whole city was included into the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

We will visit Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodite's Rock), a sea stack on the way to Paphos. It is well-known for being the birthplace of Aphrodite. Upon arrival at Paphos, you will be guided to visit the Paphos Archaeological Park, which houses remains of buildings, monuments, and wonderful Roman mosaics from 4th century BC to the Middle Ages. Then visit the Tombs of the Kings. This is a UNESCO-certified archaeological site that dates back to 3 century BC. By now, about 100 tombs have been found, mainly carved out of solid rocks. Actually, they are not for the kings, but for the nobles and high-rank officials back then. After that, we will transfer you back to the hotel in Nicosia.

Today we will drive to Larnaca. You will first come to the mountain village of Lefkara for a visit. Their traditional lace work and silver handicrafts have made this place a very famous and popular destination. Also you will visit the Church of Holy Cross here. Then, follow your guide to visit Stavrovouni Monastery, which is a Greek Orthodox monastery. Located on top of a cliff, you can enjoy the fascinating views of the surrounding lands from there. Please be aware that ladies are not allowed to enter the main part of this monastery. Afterwards, you will visit the Larnaca Salt Lake and Hala Sultan Tekke. Also the old streets of Larnaca and Church of Saint Lazarus will be scheduled before sending you back to the hotel in Larnaca.
