Bolivia Vacation Tour

This morning, the tour guide and the driver will pick you up and drive 2 hours to Refugio Los Volcanes. In the half way, we will stop at the Mirador of Refugio Los Volcanes to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then we will change the vehicle to a small 4WD and proceed to Refugio Los Volcanes. After check-in, you can visit the beautiful waterfall near the hotel on your own. If interested, you can swim here and take some photos. In the afternoon, we will arrange a 2-3 hour hiking to learn about surrounding environment and observe local birds & animals.

Accommodation: Refugio Los Volcanes or similar

After breakfast, we will go on another hiking for 3 hours, looking for various plants, birds and animals, and then enjoy your time swimming in the crustal lakes. Then, we will return to the hotel to have lunch. In the afternoon, we will leave Refugio Los Volcanes, change to another vehicle nearby the Mirador of Refugio and return back to Santa Cruz.

Today the driver will escort you to Santa Cruz Airport and you will take a flight to Sucre by yourself. After arriving, the local tour guide and driver will send you to the hotel. After a short break, the Sucre city tour begins! The first stop is the House of Liberty. Next, we are going to drive to the La Recoleta, a place with a long history where Sucre city was initially established. Also it is the highest part of the city, where you will have wonderful view. Then, your tour will continue to the San Lázaro church, the courtyard of the Universidad Mayor de San Francisco Xavier and the Convent of San Felipe Nery. After the trip, we will send you back to the hotel.

Today, we will drive about 3 hours to Potosi. After arriving, we will explore the city and visit the Casa Nacional de Moneda, also called the National Mint. Here you can see many machines from colonial period for minting coins. After lunch, we will drive to Uyuni, which takes 3-3.5 hours.

Firstly, we will accompany you to Train Cemetery, where you can see old rusty trains from decades ago. Next, we will drive 30 minutes to arrive at Colchani Village. This is a good place to learn about processing methods of salt. Then we will go to Salt Flats to watch "Ojosde Sal". It is a phenomenon that water bubbles up through the holes of Salt Flats. Next, we will spend some time looking around Salt Hotel. Finally, we will come to Isla Incahuasi (Fish Island) to appreciate the beauty of giant cacti.

In the morning, the driver will send you to Uyuni Airport for your flight to La Paz. Upon landing, you will meet our local guide with driver and head to the hotel together by private car. Take a short break and we will then start the half-day tour in La Paz. We will go to the government palace, the National Congress, the San Francisco Church, the Killi Killi viewpoint, and then the Moon Valley. The tour guide will accompany you to take Mi Teleferico, an urban aerial cable car system, to overlook the whole La Paz. Our last stop today is the famous Witches' Market, where you can have a glimpse of local unique cultures and beliefs.

On the last day, depending on your flight time, the driver will escort you to the airport for your departure and see you off. Wish you a safe journey!
