Day 1: Take a flight from USA to Tashkent
Today you need to fly to Tashkent by yourself to join the 16-day Uzbekistan tours from USA.

From New York, there are daily transfer flights. You can take Aeroflot-Russian Airlines SU103 scheduled at 19:20 - 11:45 to Moscow, after the stopover for 9 hours, take SU1870 flying from 20:45 - 02:45. The total flight duration is 22 hours and 25 minutes.

From Los Angeles, you can take SU107 flying from 16:05 to 13:50 to Moscow, stopover for 6 hours and 55 minutes, and then take SU1870 20:45 / 02:45. The flight time is 22 hours and 40 minutes.

Day 2: On the flight
You will spend the day on the plane flying to Tashkent.
Day 3: Arrival in Tashkent, Airport pick-up
Our driver will pick you up at Tashkent International Airport and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 4: Take a flight to Nukus, Muynak day tour from Nukus
The driver will send you to the airport for flight to Nukus. The flight takes 2 hours and 45 minutes. On arrival, our driver in Nukus will pick you up and drive to Muynak. The 220 km (137 mi) journey takes about 3 hours. Muynak was once the most prosperous fishing port in Aral Sea. Along the way, we will visit the Mizdakhan memorial complex, a group of Zoroastrian tombs. After arriving in Muynak, visit the Cemetery of ships. We will then arrange an English-speaking museum guide to show you around the local History Museum and learn about the history of Muynak. After, drive back to Nukus and check into the hotel.

Day 5: Nukus City tour, Drive to Khiva with stopover at Chilpyk and Toprak-Kala
The driver will send you to Savitsky Karakalpakstan Art Museum. We'll arrange an English-speaking guide to help you admire folk artwork and Uzbekistan modern arts. Next, we'll drive by statue of Karakalpak poet Berdakh, Nukus City Hall, and Drama Theatre and pull over to take some photos.

This afternoon, drive to Khiva 200 km (124mi) away, taking 4 - 5 hours. On the way we'll visit Chilpyk-Kala, built in 2nd century BC for the Celestial burial. Next we'll visit the ancient city ruins, Toprak-Kala. After, send you to the hotel in Khiva.

Day 6: Khiva City tour with Ichan Kala
During today's Uzbekistan tour package from USA, our guide will escort you to explore Ichan Kala by walk. Ichan Kala is the inner city of Khiva and is reputed open-air museum. At present, most of the ancient buildings in the city have been transformed into museums with various themes. We'll visit Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah and Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah and Kalta Minor outside. Then walk to the oldest mosque in the ancient city, Juma Mosque, to admire the beautifully carved wooden pillars. Some wooden pillars even have thousands of years of history. After visiting Toshkhovli Palace and Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, we will try to climb Islom Khodja Minaret. Finally, come to Kunya-Ark, the best viewing point for a panoramic view of Khiva city. After, send you back to the hotel. You will be free for the rest time of the day.

Day 7: Drive to Bukhara through Kyzylkum Desert
Today after picking you up, the driver will drive along the ancient Silk Road to Bukhara 480 km away, taking 7-8 hours. En route, stop to enjoy the beautiful "Red Sand" and Amudarya River when passing through the Kyzylkum Desert.

Day 8: Bukhara city tour by walking
On the 8th day of the Uzbekistan tour package from USA, we will arrange our local guide to accompany you to explore Old Bukhara on foot. First we'll visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble and Magoki-Attori Mosque in the city center. Then visit Chor-Minor Madrasah and trade domes, the market center. After visiting madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan and Bukhara landmarks Kalyan Minaret and Kalyan Mosque, we will go to Miri-Arab Madrasah. Then head to visit Ark Fortress and admire tall carved wooden columns, exquisite paintings and niches at Bolo Khauz Mosque. Finally, visit Samanid Mausoleum and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum.

Day 9: Bukhara half day tour, Drive to Samarkand
The guide and the driver will take you to the Summer Palace combining Europe and Central Asia architecture style. Next, go to explore the mausoleum and necropolis of Bahauddin Naqshabandiy. Finally, head to Chor-Bakr Necropolis to appreciate the great building complex. Then the driver will transfer you to Samarkand, taking 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check in hotel.

Day 10: Shakhrisabz day tour from Samarkand
Today the driver will take you to Shakhrisabz about 90 km away. After arrival, our local guide will lead you to visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Siodat Memorial Complex. Mausoleum of Jakhongir is the tomb of Timur's oldest son. Next, visit the Ak-Saray Palace with tall twin towers in front of the door and the statue of Timur. Then explore the Dor-ut Tilovat and Kok-Gumbaz Mosque, where Timur's father Amir Taragai and his spiritual mentor Shamseddin Kulyo were buried. In the afternoon, the driver will take you back to Samarkand, takes 2 hours or so.

Day 11: Samarkand city tour
The driver and the guide will take you to visit Registan Square, the heart of Samarkand. Then go to Siyob Bazzar, the largest market in Samarkand. The next stops we'll visit are Bibi Khanym Mosque and Ulugbek Observatory, the largest observatory in Central Asian history. After visiting Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, a holy place for Muslims in Central Asia, we will head to Gur-Emir Mausoleum, where Timur and other members of the royal family are buried.

Day 12: Samarkand highlight Tour, Take a high-speed train to Tashkent
First the driver and the guide will take you to Afrasiab Museum to learn the history of Uzbekistan. Next go to the Tomb of Daniel. Finally we'll drive to Koni Ghil village to study the traditional Samarkand paper-making crafts. Then we'll transfer you to the train station for the high-speed train to Tashkent, taking 2 hours and 10 minutes. Your driver in Tashkent will pick you up at the station and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 13: Take a train to Kokand, Kokand highlight tour, Transfer to Fergana
The driver will send you to the train station for the train to Kokand, taking 4 hours. Pick you up at the train station and take you to visit the Khudoyar-Khan Palace. This royal palace was built in 1871 and is decorated with colorful tiles on the outside, which is very gorgeous. Then, visit Norbut-Biy Madrassah. After, we will go to Modari Khan Mausoleum, which means "the mausoleum of Khan's mother", where Umarkhan's mother is buried. In the afternoon drive to Rishton 50 km (31 mi) away, taking 45min. Rishton is rich in ceramics. There, we will visit workshop of the famous potter Rustam Umarov, where you can see a variety of ceramic products. The driver will then drive for 80 km (50 mi) to send you to Fergana, taking 1.5 hours.

Day 14: Fergana tour, Transfer to Margilan, Margilan city tour, Take a train to Tashkent
Today we'll visit Ahmad Al-Fargoni monumental complex first and then head to Margilan to visit Said-Ahmad Hodji Madrassah. Built in 19th century, the madrassah is exquisite and intricate. We'll then go to visit Yodgorlik silk factory to see the whole process of making silk. After, the driver will send you to the train station for train to Tashkent. The train takes 5 hours. When you arrive, the driver in Tashkent will pick you up and send you to the hotel.

Day 15: Tashkent city tour
The guide and the driver will take you to explore Khast-Imom Complex including Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Then head to the biggest market in Central Asia, the Chorsu Bazaar. Here you can see many kinds of souvenirs and taste local snacks.

Next, the guide will take you to the city center by metro. Every metro station in Tashkent is well-decorated and has its own unique style. The driver will meet you in the city center and transfer you to visit Independence Square and Amir Timur Park and then head to explore State Museum of Applied Art to learn the art of Uzbekistan.

Day 16: Departure from Tashkent, Take a flight back to USA
