Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent, Airport pick-up
Welcome to join our escorted tours of Uzbekistan! Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up with a placard and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Take a flight to Nukus, Drive to Muynak for sightseeing tour
Our driver in Tashkent will send you to the airport for flight to Nukus. The flight time is about 2 hours and 45 minutes. On arrival, our driver in Nukus will pick you up at the airport and send you to Muynak 220 kilometers (137 miles) away, taking 3 hours. Muynak was once the most prosperous fishing port of Aral Sea. On the way we will stop to visit archaeological complex Mizdakhan. Reaching Muynak, we will first visit Cemetery of ships. Later we'll take you to visit Local History Museum displaying local art pieces and the history of the Aral Sea, including oil paintings about the port and animal specimen. After the visit, drive back to Nukus.

Day 3: Morning visits in Nukus, Drive to Khiva with a stop at Chilpyk and Toprak-Kala
Today our driver will take you to visit Savitsky Karakalpakstna Art Museum named after Moscow artist Igor Vitalievich Savitsky. An English-speaking museum guide will be hired to explain you the avant-garde and post avant-garde artwork. Next, we'll drive by statue of Karakalpak poet Berdakh, Nukus City Hall and Drama Theater, pull over and take some photos.

Drive to Khiva in the afternoon. The 200 kilometers' (124 miles) journey takes 4-5 hours. On the way we'll pass by Chilpyk built in 2nd century BC which was used for Celestial burial. The next stopover is the outstanding monument in 1-5th centuries AD, Toprak-Kala. Upon arrival in Khiva, the driver will help you with the hotel check-in.

Tips: Savitsky Karakalpakstan Art Museum is closed on Mondays.

Day 4: Half day tour to Ichan Kala, Leisure afternoon on your own
To cut down your expenditures, today we'll only arrange the guide to show you around in Ichan Kala on foot, the walled inner city of Khiva reputed as an open-air museum. In the inner city, first we'll visit Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah and the famous short minaret, Kalta Minor. Then we will head to Juma Mosque to appreciate the exquisite carved wooden pillars. Next, head to visit Toshkhovli Palace and Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum. Pakhlavan Makhmud is the patron saint of Khiva. Then we'll try to climb Islom Khodja Minaret. After, head to Kunya-Ark to enjoy a panoramic view of Khiva city. Afterwards, send you to the hotel.

Day 5: Drive to Bukhara through Kyzylkum Desert
Today our driver will drive you along ancient Silk Road to Bukhara 480 km (298 mile) away, taking 7-8 hours. On the way we'll pass by the 15th largest desert in the world - Kyzylkum Desert and have a stop to admire the unique desert landscape and Amudarya River. Upon arrival, check in the hotel in Bukhara.

Day 6: Visit the Old Bukhara
Today we'll arrange a guide accompanying you to have a walking tour in Old Bukhara which is include in the World Heritage Site list. First go to visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble and then the oldest building in the old city, Magoki-Attori Mosque. After visiting Chor-Minor Madrasah, we'll head to explore the center of local market, trade domes. Then go to madrasahs of Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan to appreciate Islamic architecture. Afterwards, visit the landmark building Kalyan Minaret and Kalyan Mosque. Then head to Miri-Arab Madrasah, one of the most esteemed spiritual Islamic educational establishment in the world. After, continue to Ark Fortress and Bolo Khauz Mosque well-known for its high carved wooden pillars. Finally we'll visit Samanid Mausoleum and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum.

Day 7: Bukhara half day tour with Sitorai Mohi Hosa, Drive to Samarkand
During today's escorted tours of Uzbekistan, First our guide and driver will accompany you visit the Summer Palace, also called Sitorai Mohi Hosa which was a country resort of Bukhara amirs. Then visit the mausoleum and necropolis of Bahauddin Naqshabandiy, the holy place of the Sufi Order "Naqshbandia". Afterwards, go to Chor-Bakr Necropolis, also called the city of dead for burying many ancient nobles. Finally, the driver will transfer you to Samarkand 278 kilometers (173 miles) away, taking 4-5 hours.

Day 8: Shakhrisabz day tour from Samarkand
Today the driver will take you to Shakhrisabz 90 kilometers (56 miles) away, taking 2 hours. The local guide will be waiting for your arrival and then take you to visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Siodat Memorial Complex. Mausoleum of Jakhongir is the tomb of Timur's eldest son. Then head to visit Ak-Saray Palace, the summer palace Timur built for himself. Next, continue to visit Dor-ut Tilovat and Kok-Gumbaz Mosque where Amir Taragai, the father of Timur and Shamseddin Kulyo, the spiritual mentor of Timur were buried. In the afternoon the driver will send you back to Samarkand.

Day 9: Samarkand highlights tour
On the 9th day of the escorted tours of Uzbekistan, our driver and the guide will take you to visit Registan Square known as the heart of Samarkand. Next we will go to Bibi Khanym Mosque. Then we'll take you to Ulugbek Observatory. After visit the shrine of Central Asia Islam Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, we'll go to Gur-Emir Mausoleum. Gur-Emir Mausoleum buried Timur and other members of the royal family. This mausoleum has a large spherical cone-shaped vault with splendid frescoes. After the visit, return back to the hotel.

Day 10: Samarkand day tour, Take a high-speed train to Tashkent
After breakfast, the driver and the guide will take you to Afrasiab Museum to learn the history of Samarkand city. Then head to visit the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Finally we'll drive to visit Koni Ghil village to learn the traditional way of making Samarkand paper. For the rest of the time you can explore other attractions nearby by yourself. This afternoon, the driver will send you to the train station for high-speed train to Tashkent. The journey takes 2 hours and 10 minutes. Our driver in Tashkent will wait for you at the station and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 11: Tashkent city tour
The guide and the driver will take you to Khast-Imom Complex to see the Islamic architecture. You will visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Next, head to the local market the Chorsu Bazaar where you can buy some souvenirs, know the local daily life and taste local snacks.

After, the guide will take you to take metro to city center. The metro stations in Tashkent are all well-designed and deserve your visit. The driver will meet you in the city center. Then we'll visit Independence Square and Amir Timur Park. Finally go to explore State Museum of Applied Art and then go back to the hotel.
