Day 1: Arrival in Ukraine
After arrival in Lviv, a southwest city of Ukraine, you can take a taxi to transfer to the hotel and have a good rest for the rest of the time. Lviv is the political, economic, cultural and educational center in west Ukraine. It was occupied by different countries in history, thus making its culture so unique. In 1998, Liviv was recorded into the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO.
Day 2: Lviv
You will spend the whole day visiting Lviv. In the morning, you are going to visit High Castle, the highest point in the city with an elevation of 409 meters. On the top pf the castle, you can overlook the distinguished green-domed church and the anfractuous buildings in the ancient downtown area. Then you will visit the Apteka Museum. After lunch, you will go to visit the History Museum.
Day 3: Lviv
There is no scheduled activity arranged for the whole day and you can make the arrangement by yourselves. It is recommended for you to ramble over Liviv or go to the old city of Lviv where most of the scenic spots and buildings are located.
Day 4: Lviv - Kiev
You will transfer to the airport and take a flight to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, in the morning. Kiev was once called “the Cradle of the Russian Civilization” in history. There are dozens of boulevards and hundreds of gardens and lawns in the city center. Modern buildings are surrounded by trees and flowers, thus giving Kiev the reputation of “garden city”. Upon arrival, you will first check in the hotel and then have a rest or tour around the city by yourselves.
Day 5: Kiev
The whole day will be spent in Kiev. In the morning, you will take a tourist bus to start the journey of Kiev city. First, you are going to visit the St. Sophia Cathedral and Mikhailovsky Cathedral. Then proceed to visit the Pecherskaya Lavra Monastery, Museum of Historical Treasures and Jewelry and Museum of Microminiatures in the afternoon. Today’s tour will come to an end after you visit Lypki, a historical district in Kiev.
Day 6: Kiev
The whole day is free on your own and you may go sightseeing in Kiev by yourselves. Andriyivskyy Descent, the most famous historic street and important tourist attraction, is strongly recommended for you to visit. There are Castle of Richard the Lionheart, Saint Andrews Church with baroque style, Mikhail Bulgakovs house, monument of Yaroslav the Wise and other scenic spots. At night, you can go to the city center, where outdoor party is held in summer. Thousands of people are enjoying the night scenes in restaurants, clubs and coffee houses nearby.
Day 7: Departure from Ukraine
After breakfast, you can stroll around in the city and purchase some souvenirs for your family or friends at local stores. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule and depart from Ukraine by air. Hope you have a pleasant journey home.
