The meals were fine, we love Chinese food.

Mr. Wong was a terrific guide and his English was very good.He had excellent knowledge of Hangzhou and China in general. He was an especially good guide because he was older and had a bigger perspective about China and the recent changes, compared to earlier times. We will definitely choose him if we come to China for furthur visit.

The driver and car were also excellent.

Dear Irene,

I'm sorry this has taken so long to answer - we were very busy when we returned home. Our trip was wonderful and thank you for your arrangements and taking the time to meet us in Xian.

Overall, the meals were very good - our favorites were lunch in Beijing on the way to the Mutianyu Gate (an art auction was in progress) and the lunch in Dunhuang.

Our guide, Nancy in Beijing was very protective and it was a wonderful way to begin our exploration. Our guide, Jane in Xian was excellent and a delight and had a very good knowledge of English. Our guide, Richard, in Dunhuang was the most inventive - when our plane was delayed 3 hrs in leaving he took us back to town and arranged massages for us - a wonderful way to wait for our flight. And finally our guide, Lee, in Guilin was the most enthusiastic.

Overall, all guides were excellent - not only in their knowledge of the sites but also in the care they took of us and their concern for our comfort and enjoyment - I would definitely recommend your company.

Hello to the staff at your company:

It was with some trepidation that we booked a tour over the internet based on a google search. Your company provided everything stated on their website - there were no false promises - what was advertised was delivered!

All emails were answered by your company quickly and an additional service at a good price was offered when we were having trouble getting transport at the end of the tour. We were informed by email about a a number of changes and consulted about a change of hotel as the advertised hotel was fully booked. This to us indicated a commitment to service as nothing was taken for granted.

Our detailed evaluation are below:

Meals:
The lunches and dinners included in the tour were well-presented and tasty. The meal allowance was sufficient to allow us to order a number of dishes and refrestments such as jasmin tea, soft drink and beer. By the time we had a cooked breakfast, a gourmet lunch and a dumpling dinner we felt we would never be able to eat again! The two restaurants we liked were:

Xian - we ate twice here and was in the same building as your company's offices. I feel that a different restaurant should have been chosen for the last day especially as the restaurant was setting up for another function.

Guillin - the second restaurant across the road from the lake.It was a small restaurant with pleasant decor and provided good service and food. It was a pleasant way to finish the tour.

Guides:
Our Guillin guide - Tony Lin is an exemplary guide. He confirmed the timetable, engaged in conversation, was respectful of our privacy, was flexible in arranging the start time for each day and showed interest in us as travellers. He had extensive knowledge of Guillin and because of his age and previous work experience had a mature understanding about world events, the way of life in other countries and the development of China as a nation.

Our Xian guide - Rita has a great future. She did very well for a guide with 6 months experience. She needs to work on her English language skills to develop better understanding of what is being asked of her. Her translation is still at the literal stage so is well above what is required for touring and conversation but not for understanding any indepth questioning or explaining topical issues.Overall - we were very happy with both guides.

Cars:
It was a real treat to be met and driven from place to place safely. Both drivers kept clean, well maintained vehicles. However, what was more important to us is that both drivers drove safely and showed courtesy to other drivers in very trying driving conditions.

We believe your company provides value for money and if an opportunity arises would use this company again.

The services rendered by your company were of superior quality. The guides and drivers were very courteous and quite knowledgeable about the areas that they took us through, and somewhat flexible in adapting to changes in the schedule when we requested them. The cars are excellent, as were most hotels selected. Most of the restaurants chosen for meals were clean and gave a good variety of food.

Guilin is a magically beautiful city that represents one of the best managed and maintained cities that I have visited in my three journeys to China.

Your choice of the Sofitel Hyland in Shanghai was excellent, giving us perfect access to bustling Nanjing, the Bund and other sights in the city.

Thank you for your email. It was very nice to meet you in person. That restaurant was my favorite. The beef was especially good. James was an excellent guide. He was prompt, polite, and very fluent in English. He knew a lot about the history of Xian and was able to answer all of my questions.

Our driver was very good and the car was clean and comfortable. The hotel was excellent. A very comfortable bed and a delicious buffet breakfast was greatly appreciated. Thank you for making this vacation to Xian so memorable. I look forward to working with you again.

Thanks for all the arrangements for the China trip. Everything went off very well and we were very satisfied with our team of guide- my parral and the driver. They were cheerful,cooperative and very patient with us and the kids.They were always on time. Mr. parrel's English was above average and apart from the regular historical information he shared with us interesting stories of Chinese life and culture !

The car was also very comfortable and clean at all times and the hotel choice was excellent- very stylish and contemporary.

The meals too were well arranged-both the indian dinners were good- especially the one at the tandoor restaurant. The Chinese lunches were of good quality too. The pizza buffet on the last day was a great change and totally welcome!

I am happy to say that I will surely recommend your web site to all our friends travellng to cjhina in the future- because of your high standards of arrangements and efficient service !
