Your dedicated driver will welcome you at Zurich Airport. Then you will start an enlightening orientation city tour, that our knowledgeable driver will show you the highlights of Zurich from your private car, only making stops and entries based on your interests. Start your day by taking a scenic train ride from Zurich to Lucerne. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Lucerne train station, you can store your luggage in the luggage lockers for convenience. The lockers are located inside the station and come in a variety of sizes to accommodate different baggage needs. The cost depends on the size of the locker and how long you use it. Typically, prices range from CHF 5 to CHF 12 for the first 6 hours.

From Lucerne train station, you can take a leisurely self-guided walking tour to explore the charming city, allowing approximately 2 hours for sightseeing. Begin with a stroll to the iconic Chapel Bridge, one of Lucerne's most famous landmarks. This picturesque wooden bridge offers breathtaking views of the Reuss River and is adorned with beautiful flowers. Spend some time crossing the bridge and admiring its historic significance. Next, make your way to the Lion Monument, located nearby. This impressive sculpture carved into a rock commemorates the Swiss Guards who lost their lives during the French Revolution. Take a moment to appreciate the artistry and symbolism of this monument.

Afterward, return to Lucerne train station and continue your train journey to Interlaken, which is the first section of the famous Golden Pass Line. The train ride takes around 2 hours, offering stunning views of Switzerland's picturesque landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Interlaken, walk less than 10 minutes to your hotel and take some time to relax. Here are some activities you can take for the late afternoon:

Boat Cruise on Lake Thun or Lake Brienz: Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on either Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, surrounded by the beauty of the Swiss Alps. A nice round trip is to travel from Interlaken to Thun or Brienz by boat, and back to Interlaken by train.

Information about Lake Thun Boat Trip:
● Pier & Transportation: You can board the boat at Interlaken West Boat Station, just about a 10-minute walk from the city center of Interlaken. For your return train trip from Thun, it will take approximately 30 minutes.
● Cruise Duration: Typically taking 2 hours.
● Cruise Highlights: You will have the chance to admire charming lakeside villages, picturesque castles, and panoramic views of the Swiss Alps.

Information about Lake Brienz Boat Trip:
● Pier & Transportation: The boat pier for Lake Brienz is Interlaken Ost Boat Station. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. And it will take about 20 minutes to take the train from Brienz back to Interlaken.
● Cruise Duration: Usually taking 75 minutes.
● Cruise Highlights: You'll have an opportunity to witness cascading waterfalls, dense forests, and charming Swiss villages along the shoreline.

Harder Kulm: Take a funicular ride to the top of Harder Kulm, offering panoramic views of Interlaken and the surrounding mountains & lakes.

Information about Harder Kulm Trip:
● Transportation: The Funicular Valley Station is a 5-minute walk away from the Interlaken Ost train station. From the city center, you can walk about 15-20 minutes or take a local bus to Interlaken Ost.
● Timings: The funicular service to Harder Kulm operates from early April until late November. Trains start around 9:10 AM, and the last descent varies between 9 PM and 10:30 PM depending on the season.
● Duration: The funicular ride to the top takes about 10 minutes. Once at the top, spend your time admiring the view, eating at the restaurant, or exploring walking trails. Most visitors stay at Harder Kulm for 1-3 hours.

Following your exploration of Jungfraujoch, you could retrace the same route and take the cogwheel train to Eigergletscher before transferring to a train bound for Grindelwald. This journey will take approximately 70 minutes. In Grindelwald, a charming mountain village, spend 1-2 hours strolling through idyllic streets, tasting local cuisine, and soaking in the tranquil ambiance.

Finally, return to Interlaken Ost, taking around 30 minutes. Travel Tips:
1. Make sure to exchange the given Jungfraujoch Voucher for the actual ticket at the Interlaken Ost Train Station counter. Your guide will assist you in this process.
2. The Jungfraujoch ticket covers all the attractions on the mountain. However, it does not include food, beverages, and winter sporting activities.
3. Jungfraujoch is snowy year-round, so wear warm clothes, gloves and solid shoes, as surfaces can get slippery, especially in the ice tunnels.

Today, you will firstly take the Golden Pass Panoramic Train from Interlaken Ost station to Montreux. The train ride offers amazing views of Swiss scenery and takes about 3 hours. First-class carriages provide spacious seats and superior comfort. It's recommended to depart in early morning to maximize your day. Upon arrival in Montreux at noon, you can store your luggage at the train station then head for the Chillon Castle. There are self-service lockers available, and prices depend on the locker size and duration of use. It's around CHF 5 - CHF 12 for the first 6 hours.

Chillon Castle is about 45 minutes’ walk from the train station along the beautiful lakeside promenade. Alternatively, you can take bus No. 201 from Montreux station and get off at the "Chillon" stop. This island castle has stood for centuries and is considered one of the most visited historic buildings in Switzerland. Exploring the castle and grounds could take around 2 hours depending on your interests. After the visit, head back to Montreux station, collect your luggage, and catch a regional train to Geneva. The journey takes around 1 hour.

Upon reaching Geneva, proceed to your hotel which is just a 10-minute walk away. Take some time to unwind and refresh yourself at the hotel, then start discovering the vibrant city center. The following sites are conveniently located within walking distance:

Jet d'Eau Fountain: This iconic fountain on Lake Geneva is visible from many parts of the city. A quick photo stop here is recommended.
Flower Clock: Located in the nearby English Garden, it's a short walk from Jet d'Eau and another great spot for photos.
St. Peter's Cathedral: Take a tram/bus or only a 15-minute walk to reach the Old Town where you'll find this cathedral. Depending on the remaining time, you could explore inside or simply admire it from outside. Please note that there is additional charge if you wish to visit the archaeological site beneath the cathedral or climb the tower for a panoramic view of the city.
Old Town: Spend the rest of your evening strolling around Geneva's charming Old Town before grabbing a well-deserved dinner at one of the local restaurants.

If you're up for it, a 30-minute walk or a 15-minute bus ride will take you to the renowned Broken Chair sculpture and the Palace of Nations (Palais des Nations). The journey could be an enjoyable one, given fine weather, offering glimpses of Geneva's picturesque landscapes along the way.
