Day 1: Mountain excursion to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe
Welcome to join our Alpine tours. Today our guide will pick you up from Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel at 8:00am and depart for Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. We'll first get to Bernese Oberland. It's part of Swiss Alps and the place where majestic snow-capped mountains turns into lush, green valleys. Then we will transfer to the cogwheel train all the way up from Lauterbrunnen Valley to Jungfraujoch. You could see the dramatic scenery of the triple peaks of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau along the journey. After reaching the summit, we will visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau where you could appreciate the splendid glacial landscape of Aletsch Glacier. It's the mightiest ice flow of the Alps. After the visit, we will send you to the hotel at Interlaken.

Day 2: Interlaken at leisure
Enjoy your free day at leisure. Apart from being the popular base camp for Bernese Oberland Alps, Interlaken is also a famous resort town located between Lake of Thun and Brienz. You could take a walk along the main street - Höheweg and explore the souvenir shops selling Swiss-made army knives, watches, jewelries and chocolate etc. Alternatively, you could pay a visit to the viewing platform Harder Kulm offering a panorama of the two beautiful lakes and entire town. In the evening, the guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and inform you the schedule of the next day.

Day 3: City tour in the old town of Berne, a gastronomy tour in Gruyeres
Today we will explore Berne, the capital city of Switzerland. We'll first go to its old town area. Listed as UNSECO World Heritage site, the Old Town of Berne is famous for its postcard-perfect medieval streets, miles of arcades and historical buildings. We will tour the impressive Gothic-style Berne Cathedral, the Swiss's largest religious building, and have a bird's eye view of the Aaare River from the 100-meter-tall cathedral tower. Then drive to the medieval town of Gruyeres and enjoy a gastronomy tour to the famous Gruyeres cheese factory, chocolate factory and local winery. Later head out for the global city of Geneva, also described as the “peace capital” due to the presence of the Red Cross and agencies of the United Nations.

Day 4: City tour of Geneva, drive to Zermatt via Lausanne and Montreux
After breakfast, we will take a walk at Geneva Old Town. There are lovely tiny squares and streets lined with beautiful stone buildings, museums, homey cafes and restaurants. We'll pay a visit to the 12th-century St. Peter Cathedral in the center of the town. Later we'll go to the English Garden and marvel at the Flower Clock – a huge well-functioning clock made of seasonal flowers and drive past United Nations Office located in the Palace of Nations to the resort town of Montreux. We'll see the historic Chillon Castle on the way. It's one of the best-preserved medieval water castles in Europe celebrated by its beauty and likes of literary talents including Victor Hugo, Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Lord Byron. In the afternoon take a cogwheel train from Tasch to Zermatt and stay one night there.

Day 5: Scenic drive to Lugano over the Nufenen Pass
Enjoy your morning at leisure. Zermatt is a popular mountaineering and ski resort of Swiss Alps. You could hike or travel with rack railway to the Gornergrat observation platform at an altitude of 3,089 meters (2 miles) and appreciate the magnificent beauty of Mattehorn. At about noon, please go to Tasch by train. Our bus will be waiting at the Tasch Railway Station and later travel along the scenic Nufenen Pass to reach the lakeside city of Lugano. Stay overnight at the hotel in Lugano.

Day 6: Drive to St. Moritz via Lake Como and Maloja Pass
Today we will go on driving to Gandria and cross the border into Italy. Drive along the gorgeous Lake Como - the third largest of Italian lakes, and reenter Switzerland from the border of Castasegna. You would marvel at the hairpin bends of Maloja Pass, admire the natural setting of Lake Sils and Silvaplana, and finally get to the cosmopolitan town of St. Moritz which has played host for two Winter Olympics.

Day 7: Drive back to Zurich with a stop in Chur and Vaduz
Today we'll drive through the Julier Pass into Chur, reputedly the oldest city in Switzerland due to its settlement history of over 5,000 years. The car-free city set against the snow-capped mountains shines with national heritage sites including museums, libraries and churches as well as its plethora of colorful markets. Next we will go to Liechtenstein, the Europe's fourth smallest country bordered by Swiss and Austria, with an area of only 160 Square kilometers (62 Square miles). We'll tour around its capital city Vaduz and afterwards go back to Zurich. This is the end of our Alpine tours. Thanks for your support. Hope you've had wonderful time during the trip.
