Day 1: Arrive in Bergen, the Second Largest City of Norway Welcome to Bergen. After you land at Bergen Flesland Airport (BGO), please take airport shuttle bus and get to the hotel by yourself. Bergen is known as a rainy city for it rains quite frequently. Thus, it is necessary to bring an umbrella or raincoat. If there is plenty of time left after the check-in, why not tour around Bergen on your own? At the world heritage site Bryggen, you can see colorful wooden houses and Hanseatic remains. Lively fish market and the streets at downtown will make you immerse in the special Northern European vibe. At 6 p.m., the tour guide will give you and other group members an introduction of the itinerary at the hotel lobby. A welcome drink is ready for you. Day 2: Transfer to Voss & View the Magnificent Fjords Today is a full day escorted tour. In the morning, we will drive to Voss and visit Tvindefossen Waterfall. Voss is a lovely lakeside town as well as a good transfer stop during our trip. Then, go on driving along Sognefjord, Norway's largest and deepest fjord, and get to Sogndal. Upon arrival, we will spend three hours experiencing the Flam Railway at Aurlandsfjord. After that, keep driving to Stegastein Viewpoint, where you can enjoy a panoramic scene of Aurlandsfjord. Day 3: Travel along the National Tourist Route & Arrive at Geiranger Village After breakfast, we will set out for the Urnes Stave Church by ferry. Constructed from 1200 to 1350, this church witnessed Norway's dynastic changes, and it also coincided with the end of polytheism and the emergence of Christianity in the area. After the visit, go on driving along the Sognefjellsvegen, which is the National Tourist Route as well as the highest mountain pass road in Northern Europe. Later, we will reach Dalsnibba skywalk at Geiranger. Steep mountains, green meadows and beautiful waterfalls can leave you unforgettable memories. Today's itinerary ends at Geiranger Village. Day 4: Geiranger Fjord, A Paradise with Gorgeous Views The whole morning is for you to explore Geiranger without being bothered. Geiranger is considered the paradise for nature lovers, as lush vegetation and rolling ranges provide good conditions for people to go hiking or forest bathing. If you do not feel like going too far, you can take a walk at downtown and have a look at local chocolate factories. In the afternoon, depart for Loen by ferry. Alongside the Geirangerfjord, we will see several famous waterfalls, such as Seven Sisters, the Bridal Veil and the Suitor. Later, disembark at Hellesylt and drive back to Loen and check in the hotel. Day 5: Loen Skylift & Geirangerfjord Fjords Tour in Norway In the morning, we will take 1,011m (1,106yd) long Loen Skylift to get to the top of Mount Hoven. Standing on the sightseeing platform, you can enjoy a 210-degree view of Lovatnet Lake in the east and the winding fjords in the north. Then, keep driving southwards to Byrkjelo village. After a short break, we will continue to drive to Geiranger fjord via the lakes of Jolstravanet and Hakedalsvatne. Among all the Norway's fjords, UNESCO-listed Geiranger fjord is acclaimed as the jewel in the crown. Thus, do take some memorable photos here. Day 6: Taste Cider Wine and Then Return to Bergen A short visit to a local cider house is planned this morning. We will tour around the orchard and then taste fresh cider wine. When the visit ends, it is time to leave from Balestrand to Vagnes by ferry. During the ride, we can see stone-built Hove Church at Vik Village, which is characterized with Romanesque style. Day 7: Bergen Departure & Thank You for Travelling with Us! Our exciting Norway sightseeing ends today. After breakfast, please check out of the hotel and get to Bergen airport by yourself.
