1. Kuala Lumpur

Around February 17 of 2026, the Chinese New Year, the city comes alive with festive atmosphere, thanks to its large Chinese community. Chinatown is beautifully decorated with red lanterns and buzzing with traditional performances like lion dances, making it an exciting spot to soak up the happy atmosphere.
