Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo, Airport pick-up
On your arrival at Tokyo Airport for this Japan family holiday, you'll be picked up by a representative, and take shuttle-bus to your hotel with his or her help. Check in the hotel by yourself, and then enjoy your free time!

Day 2: Tokyo city highlights tour
You will be escorted with a private guide to have a walking tour in the morning (public transport used). You'll visit Meiji Shrine of Meiji Emperor, which is a holy site to hold Japanese weddings; and Senso-ji, the oldest temple in Tokyo with centuries-old Nakamise Shopping Street. You can stroll along this street to see various souvenirs and try traditional local snacks. You'll also visit the Tokyo SkyTree (SkyTree's Tembo Observation is included), where you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the whole Tokyo from the height of 634 m (2,080 ft). In the afternoon, have fun on your own to go shopping, taste delicious foods and adventure in Tokyo.

Day 3: Drive to Mt. Fuji for a full day tour
After you finish your breakfast, an English speaking driver will drive you from the hotel to Mount Fuji, an active volcano taken as the symbol of Japan. We'll drive forward to Mount Fuji 5th station, the highest spot vehicles can reach up the mountain (Or highest as possible when the road is closed due to the weather). There are some snack bars and souvenir stores for you to take a rest at the station. Then you'll go to Lake Ashi, to cruise on the clear volcano lake while enjoying beautiful landscapes on shore. After that, you can take Mt. Komagatake Ropeway on your own, and then go to the agreed spot to meet our driver. In the cable car, you can also see Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji on high on clear days. Finally the driver will transfer you back to Tokyo.

Day 4: Enjoy a relaxing free day in Tokyo
Today you can travel freely in this traditional and modern city, pursuing a cultural or culinary journey. Ueno Park, Kabukichō, Daiba Park, Tsukiji Honganji Temple, or Tokyo Disney Resort ect., all can be one of your choices.

Day 5: Take Shinkansen (bullet train) to Takayama, Explore Takayama
In the morning, you need to go to Tokyo Station on your own and board a Shinkansen bullet train for Takayama (You will need to connect the express train in Nagoya, the total train time is around 4.5 hours, all tour in Takayama is arranged on your own). Check into the hotel by yourself.

Takayama, called Little Kyoto, is a peaceful old city. You can decide your own Japan family tour in this city to visit famed attractions, such as Takayama Festival Float Exhibition Hall with floats (Yatai) used during autumn parade. You may go to Takayama Jinya and Old Town as well, feeling the atmosphere of Japan hundreds of years ago. You can also go to the local Sake Brewery to taste simon-pure sake.

Day 6: Go to Shirakawa-go, overnight at Kanazawa
Today's visits are arranged on your own as well. Please feel free to call us if you have any problem.

You can stroll in morning market of Takayama after breakfast. And then go to Shirakawa-go by bus(around 1 hour), the most beautiful village in Japan. Shirakawa-go, "Praying Hands" literally, is known for Gassho-zukuri farmhouses with the roof like two palms holding together sincerely. These farmhouses are good to prevent cold for large family, out of which some have been there for 250 years. After then, take the bus (around 1.5 hours) to Kanazawa and check in hotel.

Day 7: Kanazawa leisure day
You have to do the Japan family holiday by yourself today.

In the morning you can have a cooking lesson to make Sushi, Tempura or local Kanazawa foods. If you're interested in this class, we'll make an appointment for you (please advise us in advance).In the afternoon, we recommend you to explore this heritage town which has been protected well. Pay a visit to the Kanazawajo, the ancient castle constructed in 1580 AD; Kenrokuen Garden, one of three most famous gardens in Japan; or Higashi Chaya District, an old quarter since Edo Era.

Day 8: Take express train to Kyoto, Kyoto city tour
Take 10-15 minutes' taxi to Kanazawa station after breakfast. You have to take a 2-hour train ride to Kyoto then. You will meet your English speaking guide at Kyoto station, and then start your Japan family tour in Kyoto by public transport. Kiyomizu Temple is a world cultural heritage to appreciate pink sakura or red maples. Kinkaku-ji is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. After that, you'll head to Arashiyama for a leisurely afternoon. You can roam around the bamboo groves, take photos on Togetsu-Kyō, and eat wonderful desserts at those dessert shop nearby. Landscapes on both sides of Togetsu-Kyō are quite charming, especially when maples there turn red. At last, check into the hotel we have selected for you.

Day 9: Kyoto & Nara day tour
After breakfast and hotel pick-up by our English speaking driver, you will visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, a well-known site for numerous vermilion torii gates when it is mentioned to non-Japanese. Next, you will be transferred to Nara, the first city set as the capital of whole Japan from 710 to 784 AD. It is also a world heritage with quite a few historical sites you'll visit, including the Todaiji, a temple with world's largest wood hall and one of Japan's largest Buddha statues; Nara Park next to The Todaiji, having over one thousand deer living there freely; and Kasuga Taisha, a best known shrine all over the country. Return to Kyoto in the late afternoon.

Day 10: A free day for you to explore Kyoto
This day will be free for you to adventure in Kyoto to temples and shrines, and taste snacks, etc. You can take a walk in Ninenzaka & Sannen-zaka, or go to Gion area to visit Yasaka Shrine, Hanami- kōji, Philosopher's Path, and so on.

Day 11: Take Shinkansen (bullet train) to visit Hiroshima
Today you'll enjoy your Japan family holiday to Hiroshima. After breakfast, you'll take the bullet train(1 hour 40 min) to Hiroshima by yourself. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, your English speaking driver will meet you at train station to start the tour. About 1 hour's drive to the port, take the ferry to Miyajima, where you'll visit heritage Itsukushima Shrine. Regarded as one of the best shrines, Itsukushima Shrine was built in the 6th century and is famed for its Shinden-zukuri style structure. Then you'll return to Hiroshima by ferry. You'll visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park & Museum, which has been a token of peace to memorize the destructive effect of atomic bomb. Meanwhile, the Atomic Bomb Dome was designed to remind people of peace and elimination of atomic weapons. After the visits today, our driver will send you to check in the hotel in Hiroshima, and say goodbye to you.

Day 12: Take Shinkansen (bullet train) to Osaka, Osaka city tour
After breakfast, make your own way to take the Shinkansen (around 1 hour) to Osaka for your following Japan family tour. You will meet our local English speaking guide at Osaka station. He/she will lead you to the 450-year-old Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most spectacular buildings with five stories. You'll also visit famous Kuromon Market with 190 years' history, known as Osaka's Kitchen in the city. At the end, you'll go to Umeda Sky Building, a fine site to see sunset in Japan and enjoy the night view of Osaka. It is also quite romantic and mysterious, with special seats for lovers in the observatory, the god for praying for love, and the fluorescent stone rooftop.

Day 13: A free day for you to explore Osaka
Leave you a free day to explore Osaka city. You can continue with notable temples, historic entertainment quarters, gardens, or the famous "kofun" tombs, such as Shitennō-ji ,Shinsekai,Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, Daisen Park ect.

Day 14: Departure from Osaka
Go to Osaka Airport (Itami or Kansai) by shuttle van on your own for your departure flight.
