Day 1: Arrival in Cusco, Pick up & Cusco city tour
Thanks for joining the 6 days Cusco tours! Our English-speaking guide will pick you up at the airport with your name board upon your arrival. Then you will be transferred to the hotel to check in. After that, you can follow the tour guide to have a walking tour around Cusco city. After strolling around the city square, Plaza de Armas which is packed with local residents and tourists all year round, we are going to visit the Cusco Cathedral built in 1550. It is one of the most outstanding buildings in Cusco during the colonial period. It is also a typical architecture with the culture imported by European colonists. Then we will walk to San Blas to appreciate exquisite handicrafts, galleries and so on. After the visit, we will go back to the hotel. Accommodation: Sonesta Hotel Cusco (4 stars)

Day 2: Tour through Cusco, Take a train to Aguas Calientes
In the morning, we are going to visit Sacsayhuaman to start today's Cusco tour package. Located at 3,630 meters above sea level, it was a military fortress built in the late 15th century. We can see magnificent buildings made up of countless huge stones. Then we will walk to the Temple of the Moon, which used to hold religious ceremonies. Next, we will visit the water temple Tambomachay. There is a constant stream of water, and it is said that the ancient Inca generals would take a rest and wash off the dust before coming back to see the king. After the visit, we will go to Ollantaytambo and you can choose a favorite restaurant to have lunch. Then we will send you to Ollantaytambo Railway Station to take a 1.5-hour train to Aguas Calientes - the town of Machu Picchu. After arriving, the local hotel staff will wait for you and guide you to walk to the hotel nearby. Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: Tour to Machu Picchu
The first stop of today's Cusco tours is Machu Picchu. Our tour guide and you will walk to the nearby bus station to take a bus to this destination. Machu Picchu stands for "Ancient Mountain" in Quechua. Also known as the "Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu is a well-preserved Pre-Columbian Inca relic. After around 2 hours visiting with the guide, you will hike to Huayna Picchu by yourself, where you can overlook the whole magnificent Machu Picchu. You can bring some snacks as lunch today. After that, you can go to the bus station to return to Aguas Calientes, and then walk back to your hotel. Don't worry, our tour guide will give you a detailed direction of the bus station in advance. Day 4: Take a train back to Ollantaytambo, Tour in Sacred Valley
In the morning, please walk to the railway station to take a train to Ollantaytambo on your own. When you arrive there, our tour guide and the driver will meet you and show you around the nearby villages with Inca relics. As you walk along the traditional streets, you will feel the history of the Inca Empire. Then we will drive by the scenic Sacred Valley to Urubamba Village to have lunch. Next, we will drive to Maras Salt Mines which contains 3,000 salt mines and it is known as a salt production center that dates back to pre-Inca times. The last stop today will be Moray, and we will visit famous concentric terraces here. Moray terraces were used by the Incas to experiment with crops. The terraced fields are up to 30 meters deep, with a temperature difference of 0.5 degrees Celsius between each layer, and 15 degrees between the highest and lowest terraced fields, resulting in dozens of microclimates. The Incas cleverly took advantage of the nature of the terraces, planting different plants and grains here to study their growing environment and desired characteristics. Finally, we will stay in the hotel near Urubamba Village. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 5: Enjoy Chinchero tour, Transfer back to Cusco & local visit
Today's arrangement is going to Chinchero first, whose Inca word means the land of the rainbow. It is said that beautiful rainbows are often seen here after the rain, so the Incas believe that this is where the rainbow was born. We will visit Inca Walls and Colonial Church. And go to a local textile center to learn how to weave form workers. Then we will have a 40-min drive back to Cusco. After a short break in the hotel, we will take you to visit San Pedro Market in the afternoon to know the locals' lives and try some snacks. Finally, we will go to visit Qorikancha (the Temple of Sun). As the most revered temple of the Inca Empire, it houses the patron saint of the Incas, the sun god Inti. Meals: Breakfast
