Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
On your arrival, you will be welcomed by your guide and then follow the guide to a coach bus. An experienced driver will then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Beijing
The guide will introduce the 12 days China tour briefly in the hotel lobby before taking you to Tiananmen Square. After visiting the square, we will continue to the Forbidden City, the place where the emperors used to live and administer the affairs of government. It is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden architecture complex in the world.
At noon, an a la carte welcome lunch featuring Peking Duck will be served. After a short break, we will tour the Temple of Heaven, where an important ceremony called the Worship of Heaven was held during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). Day 3: Beijing
The Mutianyu Great Wall is the main attraction we will visit today. Regarded as the most beautiful part of the Great Wall, it has been well-preserved and shows the charm of the ancient wall. Also, its vegetation coverage is over ninety percent. To appreciate the scenery in comfort, we will reach and leave the wall by cable car. After reaching the top, red wine will be provided for a toast.

Day4: Beijing - Xi'an
Today, we will visit the Summer Palace, known as the Museum of Royal Gardens and the largest existing imperial garden in China. Then we will make a stop at the Olympic Bird’s Nest, the stadium built for the 2008 Summer Olympics, and you can take pictures of this landmark building. After an a la carte lunch, exploring a Hutong by rickshaw is the next activity in our schedule. It is a good chance to learn about the local life. Also, we will have a chance to about the ancient art of paper cutting and have a chance to try our hand at it.
Afterwards, your guide will accompany you to the airport to fly to Xi’an. Upon your arrival, the Xi’an guide will pick you up and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Meals: Western buffet breakfast, A la carte lunch Accommodation: Sheraton Hotel (5 stars)

Day 5: Xi'an
Today, we will spend the whole morning visiting the Terracotta Army. The museum consists of three main pits with thousands of terracotta sculptures that reproduce a battle formation under the lead of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259-210BC). It is an attraction definitely worth visiting on our 12 days China tour.
We will also pay a visit to a kind local family and enjoy an authentic home-cooked lunch around noon. You can chat with the host and learn to cook some Chinese dishes there. In the afternoon, we will continue our tour by visiting the Xi’an Museum, which is famous for the precious cultural relics, and see the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its splendid garden landscape. After the visit, we will have a tasty the Dumpling Dinner while watching a Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show. Friendly Tips: As the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours during the periods. Guests will enjoy free time to relax. Day 6: Xi'an
In the morning, we will set out for the City Wall and spend the whole morning there. First, we will stroll in the park surrounding the City Wall to observe people’s everyday life. Then a Master will teach you Tai Chi in the park. After this short experience, we will climb up the City Wall whose total length is about 13.7 kilometers (8.5 miles). If you want to circle the entire wall, renting a bike or taking a sightseeing battery car are both good choices, but the fee is not included.
After an a la carte lunch, your guide will lead you to the Shaanxi History Museum, which features various collections of from most of the Chinese dynasties. Then head to the Great Mosque and the Muslim Quarter. Through the visit, you will gain an understanding of the life of Muslims in Xi’an and taste some well-known specialty foods. Day7: Xi'an - Guilin
Today, our guide will escort you to the airport for the morning flight to Guilin. After your arrival, the Guilin guide will help you with your hotel transfer. Then you can have a break to prepare for the 12 days tour of China in Guilin. In the afternoon, we will tour the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill to appreciate the amazing scenery of the karst landform.

Day 8: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Today’s visit starts with a Li River cruise. Just relax and appreciate the scenery along the river. After arriving at Yangshuo, we will go to the oldest street there - West Street, which has low brick houses remaining from the Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1912). Next we will have a tour in the countryside and pay a visit to a villager’s home to learn more about local life. Afterwards, we will drive back to Guilin.

Day 9: Guilin - Kunming
This morning is your time to relax. In the afternoon, your guide will transfer you to the train station to take a 5-hour high-speed train to Kunming. Upon your arrival, the local guide there will pick you up and help you to get to the hotel.

Day 10: Kunming - Lijiang
The only attraction we will visit in Kunming is the Stone Forest, one of the finest examples of the worldwide karst stone formations formed 270 million years ago. Also, it is the oldest and largest karst topography in the Paleozoic area with all kinds of unique scenic spots. After the excursion, the guide will send you to the 3.5-hour bullet train to Lijiang. Upon arrival, the Lijiang guide will meet you at the train station and accompany you to your hotel for a rest.

Day 11: Lijiang
Baisha Village, which was the ancient capital of the Naxi Nationality, is the first stop today. We will arrange a visit to a Naxi family to learn more about their unique culture. Then we will enjoy the murals in this 500-year old town. Another ancient town we will tour is Shuhe where the Tea-Horse Road Museum is located. This museum displays the local customs, the culture of Tea-Horse Road and Pu'er tea, a specialty of Yunnan province.

Day 12: Departure from Lijiang
