Honor to have you in Uganda! In the morning, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala. We'll drive for about 5 hours for 300 km (186 miles) to Fort Portal. Along the way, you will admire the mountains of Mubende, small towns and villages, and then stop at Nakayima tree. The name of Nakayima tree comes from the wife of Ndahura (a famous Muchwezi ruler), Nakayima, who planted it. After listening to the on-site tour guide's commentary, we'll drive for about 2 hours to Fort Portal.
After arriving at Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, you will first have lunch. Then we will start a walking tour on Fort Portal Crater Lake field, crossing a challenging slope on Kyeganyawa hill surrounded by many crater lakes and crater hollows. When the sky is clear, standing on the top of Kyeganyawa hill, you can see Rwenzori Mountain. After that, we will continue to drive to Fort Portal for rest.
