Day 1: Take flight from Australia to Cape Town
You need to fly to South Africa by yourself according to the scheduled flight. From Sydney, you can take Emirates EK417 16:05 / 00:15, stay in Dubai for 3 hours and 35 minutes, and then take EK772 03:50 / 11:35, with a total journey of 27.5 hours.

From Melbourne, you can take Emirates EK407 21:15 / 05:15, transit through Dubai for 3 hours and 50 minutes, and take EK770 09:05 / 16:45, with a total journey of 27.5 hours. You can choose your flight according to your time. Our guide will wait for you patiently at the airport on time according to your flight schedule.
Day 2: Arrival in Cape Town, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Cape Town for the 16 days South Africa tour from Australia! Upon your arrival at the Cape Town International Airport, our experienced driver guide will pick you up and escort you to the arranged hotel for check-in.

Day 3: Cape Town city tour, Table Mountain and Robben Island tour
This morning, our South Africa tour packages from Australia will start with Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall. After the visits, we'll stop at St. George's Cathedral, then cross Company Gardens to Bo-Kaap, aka Cape Malay quarter, which is the cultural center of Cape Town. Afterwards, head for Table Mountain, also known as "God's Dinning Table". If weather permits, take the cable car to the highest point, overlooking Cape Town and the Atlantic Ocean. Then we'll take ferry to Robben Island to visit the most notorious prison in South Africa. Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president and the father of South Africa, was once imprisoned here for 18 years.

Day 4: Full day private Cape Peninsula tour
Today is a day of Cape Peninsula exploration. First we'll arrive at Hout Bay for a boat tour of Duiker Island, home to thousands of seals; and continue to visit Cape Point Nature Reserve, there we'll take funicular to the lighthouse. Then head to Boulders Beach next to the Simon's Town. The beach is one of the endangered African penguins' habitats, where you can see the wild African penguins up-close. Finally, we'll visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which is the most famous botanical garden in South Africa, with about 7,000 plant species planted in the courtyard.

Day 5: Drive to Franschhoek, Cape Winelands tour
After breakfast, we will start today's winery tours to Franschhoek , Stellenbosch and Paarl. As one of the oldest small towns in South Africa, Franschhoek whose name with a meaning of "French corner" was founded by French Huguenots, who brought here French grape varieties, winemaking, architectural style and lifestyle.

Day 6: Drive to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world
It's about 4 hours' drive to Oudtshoorn, passing the scenic R62 route. Oudtshoorn is dubbed as the ostrich capital of the world, where you can not only see the spectacular scene of thousands of ostriches on ostrich farm, but also learn about ostriches in the exhibition hall and choose delicate ostrich handicrafts. Then we'll drive to Cango Caves, which are Africa's most popular tourist caves and one of the Seven Wonders of Southern Africa.

Day 7: Drive to Knysna, the oyster box of South Africa
Drive through Outeniqua Pass to George, the sixth oldest town in South Africa. Drive by the historic landmarks, Slave Tree and King Edward VII Library Building. Continue driving for 2 hours through Wilderness to Knysna. It's an enchanting town located on the beautiful lagoon bank in the center of Garden Avenue. We'll then visit Eastern Head and Brenton on Sea, and enjoy a relaxing lagoon cruise.

Day 8: Drive to Tsitsikamma National Park
After enjoying a panoramic view of Knysna, we'll departure for Tsitsikamma National Park. On the way, we will visit Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, known for its efforts to protect and rescue captive primates; and Birds of Eden, the largest single free flight aviary in the world, where you can see varieties of different birds. Then drive to Bloukrans Bridge, which is the world's tallest single span bridge and runs the world's highest commercial bungee jumping experience.

Day 9: Tsitsikamma National Park
Today we'll continue our South Africa tour from Australia to visit Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth. With an 80 kilometer (about 50 miles) long coastline, Tsitsikamma National Park boasts not only a charming coastal landscape, but also a good ecological environment with forests and rivers, which make it rich in species.

Day 10: Drive to Port Elizabeth, Fly to Johannesburg
After breakfast, we will drive about 2.5 hours along Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth. The seaport city has a pleasant climate and is known as the "Friendly City". There the driver will send you to the airport to take about 1.5 hours' flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, our driver will escort you to the hotel for rest.

Day 11: Enjoy a relaxing free day in Johannesburg
Today you will enjoy a leisure free day in Johannesburg. You can visit Apartheid Museum or Top of Africa. Also the Nelson Mandela Square is a good place for shopping, entertainment and catering to meet your various consumption needs.

Day 12: Fly to Kruger National Park, Private Panorama Route tour
In the morning, the driver will transfer you to the airport for 1-hour flight to Kruger National Park. After arrival, the experienced driver guide is waiting for you and will take you to start today's Panorama Route journey. We'll visit God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, and Three Rondawels. Uniquely located north of Graskop, God's Window provides an extraordinary view of the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. Bourke's Luck Potholes features the impressive rocks and potholes, which have been carved over centuries by the whirlpools that the Treur River plunges into the Blyde River.

Day 13: Drive to Kruger National Park, Sunset safari
This morning, we'll drive about 2 hours to Balule Nature Reserve to check in the lodge. Enjoy your own exploration around the lodge. In the evening, we'll arrange the first exciting shared vehicle safari for you, companied by an experienced ranger and a local tracker. After that, drive back to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner.

Day 14: Full day at Kruger National Park (shared vehicle)
The animals usually become active very early, so start your safari immediately after a cup of coffee or tea in the early morning. During the safari, you will get lots of photography opportunities, because the vehicles will drive close to the animals. After about 3 hours' safari, return to the lodge for breakfast. After that, you can enjoy a relaxed swim in the pool or take part in the bush walk for a deeper exploration to some small animals under the ranger's guidance. The afternoon game drive is basically the same as yesterdays'.

Day 15: Sunrise safari, Fly back to Johannesburg

Day 16: Take flight back to Australia
Today our 16-day South Africa tour packages from Australia will draw a happy conclusion. The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and escort you to the airport. There are transfer flights every day from Johannesburg to Melbourne.
