Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Airport pick-up
Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport (IATA: KGL), our driver guide will pick you up at the airport and send you to the hotel. After check-in, our 7 days Rwanda tour will begin with Ntarama Church (Ntarama genocide Memorial Centre). The church, 25 kilometers south of the capital, witnessed mass massacres during the 1994 genocide. Many of the victims' bones and monuments are displayed, reminding people of that tragedy. Then we will head to the village of Mayange or Reconciliation Village. Here, the perpetrators and victims of the massacre live together. Reconciliation and unity have been achieved and you can learn how the government takes measures to cure the psychological and physical damage caused by the massacre. Meals: Dinner

Day 2: Transfer to Butare (126KM, 1H), en route visit King Nyanza Palace
After breakfast, we will drive 2 hours to the King's Palace Museum, the palace of the last king of Rwanda in Nyanza. Stop and take pictures at different stops along the way. The beautiful and picturesque "Land of 1,000 Hills" is highlight. Then we will continue to drive south for 1 hour to Butare to visit the National Museum. In the afternoon, drive 2.5 hours to Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of the oldest and biggest montane forest in Africa and check in a local hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Highlighted full day tour in Nyungwe Forest NP
Today the guide will escort you to find the mysterious and endangered chimpanzee population. Today's trip will definitely be the most memorable part of your trip. In the early morning after breakfast, we will drive 20 minutes to Uwinka Visitor Centre. Then start tracking chimpanzee in the African mountain forest at 8 o'clock. The trek will take about 2-6 hours based on the chimpanzee's activity. The chimpanzee family is accustomed to contact with humans, because researchers study them every day. The park guide will fully assist you in finding chimpanzee. After, you will be given an hour to get along with the chimpanzee. In the afternoon, head to Uwinka headquarters, where you can shuttle through the colorful trails in the tropical rainforest and experience the breathtaking 2-hour Nyungwe Canopy Walkway on Igishigishigi trail, a favorite activity of park visitors. Walk on the suspended walkway that is 70 meters high, you can breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful birding view of the trees. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Visit Nyungwe Tea Factory, Afternoon enjoy a boat ride on Lake Kivu
After breakfast, we will start the 2-hour drive from Nyungwe Forest to Lake Kivu. On the way, we will see the picturesque scenery and experience different community markets. On arrival, we will tour the Nyungwe Tea Factory to learn about tea planting, maintenance, harvesting and processing. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Kivu, visit the local fishing villages, and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Rwanda during the sailing. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Sightseeing tour in Rubavu, Transfer to Musanze (52KM, 1H)
In the morning, we will go to Rubavu town and the Congo borders for sightseeing. After, take a leisurely walk along Lake Kivu beach and return to the hotel to check out and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive along the rolling hills for 1 hour to reach Musanze, the main base of Gorilla tracking that is close to Beautiful Volcano range. After checking in the hotel, you can spend the rest of the day as you like. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Experience gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to Kinigi headquarters for registration and briefing of Gorilla trekking. Later, the park guide will assign you to one of the groups with 10 members. We will depart at 8 o'clock and cross the dense forest, to look for the gentle giants under the leadership of a professional guide. Gorillas still move while eating, so it may take 2-6h to track gorillas. After finding gorillas, you will be given 1 hour to take pictures and interact with them, observe the gorillas eating and grooming each other's hair. It will be a captivating experience of your tour. After that, return to the park headquarters and the driver-guide will send you back to the hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 7: Drive back to Kigali (115km, 2.5h), Airport see-off
