The Glimpse of Oman

Your driver guide capable of speaking English will pick you up at the Seeb International Airport on time according to the arrival time of your flight. After a warm greeting, your Oman exploration will start with the visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This modern and luxurious mosque is the world's third largest mosque which can accommodate 20,000 worshippers in total and a masterpiece of Islamic architectures. During the sightseeing, you can see the delicate decorations and the world's second largest hand-made Persian carpet. Please pay attention to your dressings. To enter the mosque, women are required to wear long dress or pants that is over ankles & long-sleeved blouse and cover the head with turban; and men are required to wear long pants and shirts. Afterwards, we will visit the Muttrah Souq, one of the most ancient Arabian markets. It is like a huge labyrinth composed of several crisscrossing alleys where sells mainly household items, shoes, clothing, the gold & silver wares, onyx brooch, colorful fabrics, khanjars, etc. Specially, the market is filled with the special mixed odor of Frankincense, fresh jasmine and other various spices. Finally, we will head to Al Alam Palace, the presidential palace, to take some pictures from outside.
