Our first stop today will be Valletta, the capital of Malta. The city was founded by the Knights of St. John in 1566. First we will come to the Upper Barraka Gardens to see the Grand Harbour and magnificent fortifications, then we will walk to the Auberges, the Grand Masters Palace and St. John's Co. Cathedra, all of which are treasures left to the city by St. John. After that the guide will accompany you to take the private car for about 30 mins to the Hagar Qim Temple, located in the southern part of Malta, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Located in a rural area, this ancient temple has a long history dating back to 3300 BC. After that, we will visit the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk. The local people still go fishing in a way that has been handed down for generations, which attracts many tourists and even Maltese residents to see. There are also many colorful traditional fishing boats called "luzzu", which the Maltese believe are navigated by the "eye of the gods" at the bow of the boat.

You can have lunch here at noon. In the afternoon, we'll head to Malta's old capital, Mdina. Different rulers in history left different traces on it. The guide will escort you to visit the city by foot, including quaint alleys, ancient buildings, and you can stand on the lofty fortresses overlooking the magnificent views in the distance. The driver will send you back to your hotel at the end of today's tour.

Then we will pass through a village to the legendary Calypso's Cave, where you can also overlook the red sand beaches of Ramla Bay below. Next we will drive to the nearby Fontana Cottage, a local specialty shop, for delicious snacks such as dried tomatoes, olive sauce, cheese and wine.

At noon we will drive to the beautiful Xlendi Bay and have lunch there. In the afternoon, we plan to visit Dwejra Bay. Although the Azur Window has been turned into a relic, Dwejra Bay is still a charming spot. You can take an optional tour by boat to travel through rocks and caves.
